Hi Jeremy , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My grandfather Webster Bernard Lowe Jr was one of the original vice presidents of McDonald’s then he became president CEO of Bonanza and then Steak n Ale… You could say fast food runs in my blood… In the early ’90s we had five locations and for some reason or another we sold them all and in 2020 me and my dad wanted to resurrect the company nearly famous Franks and burgers to nearly famous burgers and hot dogs… We started in a little double drive-through shack on Arkansas in New York in front of Sam Houston high School and did so well we sold it and moved to Little Road and Arkansas location where we started a pay it forward wall that we became nearly famous for in the Dallas Morning News the fort Worth Star-Telegram Arlington today magazine and even WFAA Channel 8 News… If you were low on funds or cannot afford a meal just come in and pull a ticket off the wall and we will feed you no questions asked… It is my calling to get back to my community and serve humbly… I’ve been in fast food all my life and I plan on opening a second location soon and building a food truck sort of like a meals on Wheels so I can go around Arlington and fort Worth and feed the homeless and do caterings an birthday parties and random pop-ups
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The economy since 2020 has almost put us out of business twice… I’ve had to take two POS Capital loans to stay afloat
