Exploring Life & Business with Kayla And India Stovall-Moore And Johnson of Global Hues Travel LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayla And India Stovall-Moore And Johnson.

Hi Kayla and India, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Global Hues Travel was born from the shared passion of travel of us, two cousins, Kayla and India.
Though we didn’t have the opportunity to travel much until adulthood, we’ve made it a priority ever since. In the past 10 years, we’ve explored 32 countries (and counting!). We have planned trips for both small and large groups, and have become the go-to travel advisors for our friends, family, and clients. We believe everyone should have the chance to see the world, regardless of ethnicity, social status, or life circumstances.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting a new business while working full-time (especially in education) comes with its fair share of challenges. For us, the biggest has been finding the right balance with our time, along with the uncertainty of who will support us by engaging with our content or showing up to our events.

We know so many people dream of traveling more, but we also understand that real-life circumstances and everything happening in the world can make that difficult.

Still, we remain committed. Every Wednesday evening after work, we come together to pour into our passion. Outside of those meetings, we each take on our individual tasks to keep things moving forward.

We truly believe the seeds we’re planting now will grow into something meaningful in the future. And through it all, we’re grateful to be doing this side by side, not just as business partners, but as cousins who genuinely enjoy the journey together.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Global Hues Travel LLC?
Global Hues Travel LLC is more than a full-service travel planning business, we’re passionate about creating meaningful, immersive cultural experiences both abroad and right here in the DFW. Through our local events, we give our community the opportunity to experience different cultures in a fun, engaging, and authentic way.

We offer free travel consultation calls to learn about your vision and how we can best support your journey. From there, we create seamless digital itineraries that keep everything in one place, which our clients absolutely LOVE. One of our favorite parts of what we do is hosting group trips, both domestic and international, and everyone is welcome to join. At the heart of our business is a commitment to true cultural immersion at an affordable price.

Since COVID-19, the travel industry has grown rapidly, and with that has come an overwhelming amount of information. Instead of spending hours scrolling through countless TikToks and “must-do” lists, we take the stress off your shoulders by curating a thoughtful blend of hidden gems and must-see experiences, so you can simply enjoy the journey.

For our local events, our “Passport to (insert country)” series brings global culture to you. We partner with local vendors from each featured country to create intimate, small-group experiences that truly make you feel like you’ve stepped into another part of the world.

And the difference with us? We’re not just behind a computer planning your trip, we’ve lived these experiences ourselves. We’ve walked the path, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
We’ve been incredibly blessed to learn from some amazing people along this journey. One of our biggest mentors has been Erica Graham of Paper Planes and Passports, based in Atlanta. Through her Travel Academy, Kayla gained invaluable knowledge that truly taught us the ins and outs of building a travel business and curating meaningful group trips. Learning under her guidance for nearly two years helped shape the vision and trajectory of Global Hues into what it is today.

We also can’t say enough about the love and support from our friends and family. They truly show up for us in every way. About half of our clientele comes from word of mouth, directly connected to parents, siblings, grandparents, and close friends who continue to believe in and uplift what we’re building.

And of course, we have to give a special shoutout to our husbands, the real unsung heroes behind the scenes. From helping with logistics to taking photos and even moving furniture, they are our go-to support system for every event. Their love and willingness to jump in wherever needed means more than we can put into words.
