Exploring Life & Business with Kristin Dail of Kristin Dail Team at RATE

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristin Dail.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I moved to Dallas from Oklahoma 13 years ago with a deep passion for helping people achieve homeownership—but I didn’t know a single person in the city. With over 20 years of combined experience in the mortgage industry, I hit the ground running, determined to build a business from the ground up. Through grit, consistency, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service, I quickly rose through the ranks and am now proud to be recognized as a top 1% loan officer nationally—and one of the top-producing women in the industry.

My “why” has always been bigger than just numbers. As a working mom of two young daughters, I want to show them—and other women—that you can build a thriving career without sacrificing what matters most. I’m passionate about empowering women to pursue both financial independence and a life they love. Dallas has truly become home, and I’m grateful every day for the relationships, trust, and purpose this journey has given me.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Breaking into such a competitive, relationship-driven market without a built-in network took time and persistence—especially as a woman in an industry that can feel very male-dominated. Balancing a fast-paced, always-on career with being the kind of mom I want to be has also been one of the biggest challenges. And like anyone in this field, I’ve had to stay agile through market swings and rate volatility—remaining steady for my clients even when the industry feels anything but.

That said, I feel incredibly blessed to be in Dallas, where the market has remained strong and resilient through national ups and downs. It’s a vibrant, growing community—and I’m grateful to be building my business here.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Kristin Dail Team at RATE?
