Cornerstone Pilates was born out of a passion for purposeful movement and a desire to bring high-quality, personalized Pilates instruction to the Richardson, Texas community.
The studio began with a clear vision: to create a welcoming space where people of all backgrounds and abilities could experience the transformative power of Pilates. Whether someone is recovering from injury, seeking better posture and core strength, or simply looking for a mindful way to move, Cornerstone was built to support them.
Located in the heart of Richardson, Cornerstone Pilates opened its doors with a few pieces of Pilates equipment, a lot of heart, and a commitment to excellence. From the beginning, the focus has been on individualized attention, thoughtful instruction, and a supportive community atmosphere—not a one-size-fits-all approach.
The name “Cornerstone” reflects the studio’s philosophy: that movement is foundational to overall wellness. Just as a cornerstone provides the first stone for building a strong structure, Pilates provides a foundation for building a strong, balanced, and resilient body.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It became clear that success wasn’t just about attracting new clients—it was about having the right teachers in place to support them.
At Cornerstone, teaching is not one-size-fits-all. We are very particular about how we teach.
