Today we’d like to introduce you to Nayy Seduction
Hi Nayy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am Ra’Zsaveh but everyone knows me as Nayy Seduction or Nayy..
My journey has been a beautiful mix of faith, resilience, and staying true to my dreams. Originally from Gary, Indiana, I was blessed with a mom who encouraged my creative side by putting me in fashion shows as a child. Those early experiences ignited my love for modeling and set me on a path I would follow for life.
At 16, I moved to Indianapolis, where my passion for the beauty industry only grew. From 2016 to 2024, I immersed myself in the world of fashion, appearing in shows, music videos, and magazines. In 2019, I graduated from Ivy Tech Community College with a degree in paralegal studies, grounding myself professionally while still pursuing my dreams.
The big shift came in July 2021, when I moved to Atlanta and, by November, officially launched Nayy Seduction Brand. Creating my own makeup line was a dream come true, a way to inspire confidence and creativity in others.
Acting became a new love, and thanks to John West Jr.—who’s known for his role on Martin—I got my first movie role in 2023. I’ve since appeared in films like Smoke, Exotic, and Flight Risk, with Exotic and Flight Risk set to release in 2025.
Then, in 2024, I made my debut on City Girls of Atlanta (season 2) and had the chance to work with Baby Blue Whoa from Pretty Ricky, an R&B icon from my childhood.
Through it all, I’ve kept God at the center, grounding myself with meditation, prayer, and yes, a little wine to keep that balance. This journey is just the beginning, and I’m grateful and excited for everything yet to come.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has been anything but smooth. Losing my father when I was just 10 months old was the beginning of a journey that taught me to rely on faith and inner strength. Growing up without him left an emptiness that shaped my early years in ways I couldn’t understand at the time. His absence left a gap I would feel all my life, but it also gave me a deep sense of resilience. I had to learn early on that even though he wasn’t physically with me, I still had a Father above guiding me, protecting me, and holding me close.
Life in foster care brought its own set of challenges. It’s hard to describe what it feels like to grow up without a stable home, without the familiar faces of family around you. Foster care can make you feel like you’re constantly starting over, like you’re building your world on sand. Yet in that uncertainty, I learned to lean on God as my constant, my rock. Even when the world around me was shifting, I found comfort in His unchanging presence.
My relationship with my mother has been far from perfect. There have been moments of pain, confusion, and heartache. Growing up, I struggled to understand why things were the way they were between us, why we couldn’t have the connection I longed for. But over time, I learned to let go of what I couldn’t control and to find peace within myself. My faith taught me the power of forgiveness and understanding, even when things don’t make sense. It’s been a journey of self-love, of realizing that my worth isn’t defined by any one relationship but by the love God has for me.
One of the hardest battles I faced was experiencing domestic violence. It was a dark chapter in my life, filled with fear, pain, and confusion. There were moments when I felt lost, wondering how I’d ever find my way out. But my faith gave me the courage to take that first step toward freedom. I knew God had a plan for my life, and that I was meant for so much more than the situation I was in. Breaking free was hard, but it was also a turning point. It was the moment I began to reclaim my strength, my voice, and my future.
Pursuing my paralegal degree at Ivy Tech Community College was a dream I held onto through all of these struggles. Balancing schoolwork with everything else was challenging, but I kept pushing forward. There were days when I wanted to give up, when the weight of everything felt too heavy. Yet every time I felt like quitting, I prayed. I turned to God, trusting that He had brought me this far for a reason, and that He wouldn’t leave me now. Through His strength, I found the resilience to keep going.
Looking back, I see how each struggle has made me who I am today. Losing my father, growing up in foster care, facing difficulties with my mother, and enduring domestic violence—they’re all part of my story, but they don’t define me. God has been with me every step of the way, reminding me that I am loved, that I am strong, and that I am more than my past. This journey has taught me that no matter how rough the road gets, keeping God first can turn any challenge into a stepping stone toward something greater. My story is proof that with faith, courage, and resilience, we can rise above anything.
