Today we’d like to introduce you to Nic Korzeniewski.
Hi Nic, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in Flower Mound, Texas, and that’s where I currently live. I graduated last May with a degree in marketing. I started my college career not knowing exactly what I wanted to do, but growing up in a sales-oriented family always made me think that might be my path. As I progressed through school, I discovered a passion for marketing, and by the time I graduated, I knew I wanted to combine those skills into something I truly enjoyed.
After graduating, I began learning more about artificial intelligence and the endless possibilities it offers. I became fascinated with online courses and training videos that showed how AI can make business processes dramatically more efficient. That’s when I started to believe I could build my own company using these tools, combined with my background in sales and marketing, to create a digital marketing business.
I spent nearly 10 hours a day learning how to build the company and testing different tools to determine which ones would best serve local businesses in my area. It was exhausting, and just as I had built a solid foundation, I briefly put the business on hold to take a job at a sales company. I enjoyed the people and the work environment, but I quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit for me. I decided to leave and fully commit to the company I had paused before even beginning to market it.
I gave myself four months to see if it could work, with the understanding that I would find another job if it didn’t. I’m incredibly glad I made that decision. Since then, I’ve built meaningful connections, learned the ups and downs of being a solo entrepreneur, and created something I’m truly proud of. It’s been a wild journey in a short amount of time, and I wouldn’t change my path for anything.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. There have been many moments where I’ve sat back and thought, “Is this all for nothing?” or “Am I wasting my time with this?” It may sound cliché, but I’d describe my journey so far as a rollercoaster. There are moments when it feels like I’m putting in endless work with little return, and I start wondering if I should just get a regular job and give up. But then a company thanks me for my help and tells me they truly appreciate what I’m doing, and suddenly I feel on top of the world.
I love sales, but I never want to be the kind of salesperson who pushes products people don’t actually need. That’s one of the reasons I started learning about AI tools in marketing — I’ve seen firsthand how effective they can be for local businesses. A big part of my role is simply explaining these tools in a way that makes sense, because the technology can feel confusing or overwhelming at first.
There have been plenty of times when I’ve sat at my desk for hours by myself, and when you’re not seeing immediate results, it’s easy to feel discouraged or question whether you’re cut out for entrepreneurship. Although the journey has been challenging at times, it has also been incredibly rewarding, and I’m grateful to be in the position I’m in today.
I would tell any new entrepreneur not to give up just because results don’t happen immediately. If owning a business were easy, everyone would do it. It’s important to believe in yourself and not be afraid to ask others for help.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Kski Group – Digital Marketing & Automation?

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I believe one of the most important characteristics for success, for myself and for anyone, is being personable. Growing up, I knew many people who believed you had to have a 4.0 GPA or be the smartest person in your field in order to be successful, but that simply isn’t true. What truly matters is being authentic and becoming someone others can trust.
Strong communication skills, whether face-to-face or over the phone, are among the most valuable skills a person can have. Being able to clearly express yourself while also listening with an open mind is incredibly important, especially in today’s world. People want to work with and do business with individuals they trust, people they can genuinely connect with and feel comfortable around.
That doesn’t mean you can succeed by simply being friendly without knowledge or effort. It means that when you combine competence with the ability to truly listen and communicate, you build meaningful relationships. Whether in business or in personal life, strong relationships are everything, because no one succeeds entirely on their own. Building trust and connection is what ultimately creates long-term success.
