Today we’d like to introduce you to Nino Fincher.
Hi Nino, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I was born in Tbilisi and grew up speaking several languages in a home where books on all sorts of subjects were very well-loved. So, my interests were diverse also: I studied linguistics, human development, psychology and human pathology, theology and world religions, ethics, and physical fitness throughout my life. Coming to Rapid Therapy and learning from Marisa Peer and so many other extraordinary teachers was a true gift.
It now allows me to get to the root of an issue people struggle with within an hour and being able to get emotionally paralyzed people out of that quicksand is such a pleasure. I work with people in Dallas and internationally and being able to watch their lives transformed without them spending outrageous amounts of time and money on therapy is incredibly exciting and fulfilling. I have dealt with PTS with the military service people extensively, trauma, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and many physical issues that are caused by the mind.
I love helping organization leaders attend to their employees’ emotional needs and watching a team get healthy without losing personnel or missing work.
Having lived in the Middle East with my husband and children (who grew up there) for 15 years before returning to Texas has taught me a lot and allowed me to build amazing friendships and experiences. Speaking at TEDx in Abu Dhabi was a highlight too.
I still split my time between the States and UAE because of friendships and work.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I counseled people with depression for years until I learned about it firsthand. That was a weight I thought I would be crushed under… Thank God I was not. But the lessons learned are truly invaluable, and although I would never want to go through that nightmare again, I would not change it because I am so much wiser and more capable in helping those who struggle with it now.
We are in charge of assigning meaning to our challenges, and that kind of a mental exercise and attitude is usually the difference between being a victim and a victor.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about NinoFIT?
I practice a Functional Integrated Therapeutic method based on Rapid Transformational Therapy that combines traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Neurolinguistic work, and Hypnotherapy. It is very effective and is rapid. Finding the exact root of the concern my clients come to me with happens very quickly, and they find relief and transformation.
Many stay with me longer and I work with them as a life coach as well.
I work with groups as well. And being able to do work virtually gives me freedom of working with clients in multiple countries and cultures. I love it.
While I specialize in anxiety, I end up working with a lot of PTS, insomnia, phobias.
I also work with organization leaders by providing workshops, health assessment, and staying with a team for a few days exclusively to help them as a team move to cohesion, focus, reduced stress, and individual employees with more specific issues of concern.
I speak on how our mind operates to groups that want to crack the menal success code and lead 5-day retreats on 4 basics of health: body, heart, mind, and spirit.
Currently working on a book on the subject.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
When I count, I always revert to Georgian language:)
