Hi Pedro, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am originally from the Dominican Republic. I came to the USA in 2008 obtaining my US citizenship on 2019. I obtained by bachelors in advertising at the state university in the Dominican Republic. My passions are baseball and art. I fulfilled one of my dreams exhibiting my paintings in several art galleries in the city of Dallas, Texas. I have also participated in juried art fairs in different cities like Addison, McKinney, Irving. I had the privilege of being chosen to have my art at the Frisco Library in 2018.
But the life that I am living today began by meeting a person who is now one of my best friends. He went to my house to fix a failure in my irrigation system, that day we connected and since then he has taught me a lot for which I am grateful. He introduced me to the world of services and from there I have not stopped learning. Mansory, irrigation, pressure washing, sealing, and staining. This is the country of opportunities that you create for yourself. This is why Pure Jet, LLC was born.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When the pandemic hit, I had already set up my company, Pure Jet, LLC. My fears became opportunities. My business plan is very thorough and this is because when making it I learned perseverance even in the eyes of failure. Although many people advised me from their fears, I felt firm in what I wanted. In addition, I surrounded myself with very good friends as well as relatives who were on the same path that I wanted to be. They guided me and advised me from their experience for which I will be eternally grateful.

I envisioned this business in North Dallas realizing that this niche existed. Pure Jet, while a young company, successfully blanketed the area with satisfied customers. We began to grow using our passions and attention to details to their maximum potential. There are restaurants that say they are Homemade, we are Handmade!

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
