Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We started LOTA in 2019 as a small cigar catering service for private events. We wanted to provide a unique experience to those that were not aware of such an amazing lifestyle while enhancing their guest’s experience during the event. Reactions were unbelievable when people saw our signature cigar bar and staff’s customer service. From there, the word got out about LOTA and have gone on to cater private events for sororities, fraternities, weddings, business meetings, even a few celebrities and upscale night clubs.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been a fun journey but not always smooth. There are a lot of traditional cigar lounges out there and many people prefer to visit them and be around that setting. Add in the pandemic, just like many other businesses, we were at a standstill. But the biggest challenge for us, showing individuals that they don’t have to experience cigars in the traditional setting, they could experience a premium cigar no matter where they are while setting their planned event apart from others. Once people saw our business model, they were impressed and business has skyrocketed from there.

Having a partner has allowed us to grow from one another. We’ve been knowing each other for over 20 years and that is what makes LOTA so great. Being a family, caring for one another and looking out for each other’s families. That same care goes out to our clients. Everything we do, we do it as if it were being presented to us and our family.
