Hi Quiana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My husband and I started Reynolds Entertainment LLC in 2021 with a shared passion for creating unforgettable experiences. We’ve always loved bringing people together, so it felt natural to build a business centered around joy, celebration, and connection.
As event curators, we handle everything from party planning and balloon design to catering, desserts, decor, travel planning, and even Photo Booth rentals. Every event we create is designed to give our clients a chance to pause, celebrate, and experience something wonderful, even if just for a moment.
The biggest challenge has been getting our business name out there and building visibility, but I’ve stayed diligent and consistent through it all. I’m most proud of that! My diligence and commitment to the vision. Seeing the smiles on people’s faces and knowing we played a part in their special moments makes it all worth it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many small business owners, we started with a dream and a vision but had to learn a lot through trial and error. One of the biggest challenges has been getting our business seen and recognized, especially while managing everything on our own.
There were times when the financial strain made things even harder like investing in supplies, decor, and equipment before the bookings came in wasn’t easy. There were moments when we had to make sacrifices and trust that the effort we were putting in would eventually pay off.
Balancing finances, creativity, and faith all at once has stretched us, but it’s also strengthened us. Every struggle has taught us something such as how to be resourceful, patient, and grateful for even the smallest wins. Even when it’s been tough, seeing the joy on people’s faces at our events reminds us exactly why we started. That joy keeps us going.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Finding a mentor or building a network can feel intimidating at first, but I’ve learned it really starts with being open and genuine. For me, it’s been about connecting with people who share the same passion and values, people who truly understand what it means to build something from the ground up.
One piece of advice I’d give is, don’t be afraid to reach out or ask questions. Sometimes the best connections come from simply introducing yourself, showing interest in others’ journeys, and being willing to learn. Social media has also been a big help following and engaging with other entrepreneurs, event planners, and creatives has opened opportunities to amazing conversations.
What’s worked best for me is leading with kindness and authenticity. When your intentions are genuine, the right people are drawn to you. I’ve learned that mentorship doesn’t always come in a formal package sometimes it’s a conversation, a piece of advice, or even watching someone else’s journey and being inspired by it.
Networking, for me, is about community building relationships that uplift, encourage, and remind you that you’re not alone in the process.
