Today we’d like to introduce you to Raylee Trawick.
Raylee, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have been an artist as long as I could remember from grade school and up. I always knew that I wanted to be an artist but I never would have imagined I would be an art teacher providing intuitive art classes to promote mental wellness.
During my time as an artist, I realized that there were a lot of businesses oriented around creating a piece of art but not so many about how you can use art to benefit your mental health using techniques such as, neuro-plasticity, self-growth through reflection, and practices of letting go. I faced my own battles with mental health and family challenges where I learned to use art for my own healing journey. I now want to share with others the same tools I use for myself.
Additionally with the emergence of technology, I believe more than ever we need art. We have so many focuses on technical practices and use of our analytical brain. I created Chamomile Intuitive Art LLC so that we can connect with our more spiritual and emotional side, exploring our subconscious and connecting the dots throughout the art process. To have a better understanding of what it means to be human, in a world where we have become so disconnected, I would like to provide some tools to connect us.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I did not take the traditional path of going to college for four years and working for a company. I have gone to college, dropped out, work for companies, work for myself, gone back to school and repeat. I have lived life beyond working and learned more about myself through my interests. I faced low moments. I failed. I made mistakes. My success comes from my failures and the willingness to keep trying new things. Chamomile intuitive art LLC is my 3rd business and I could not be where I am today if it weren’t for my past trials.

Chamomile Intuitive art LLC offers engaging, beginner-friendly Intuitive Art & Creative Wellness classes designed to encourage self-expression, mindfulness, creativity, and social connection through art.
Participants do not need any previous art experience. Each class provides a welcoming environment where participants can explore color, shapes, textures, memories, emotions, and personal experiences through guided creative activities. We have partnered with senior care facilities and provide reoccurring visits based on the facilities goals. This included art and memories, color & emotion, art journaling, creative connection and seasonal themed classes. We also do private 1 on 1 sessions.
The goal is to let go of predetermined ideas of what the artwork should look like or will look like and give yourself grace to enjoy the creative process, adding spontaneity to connect with oneself and others, and discover something more meaningful than taking home a piece of art, you take home a piece of yourself. We are proud to be able to create an impact within our community through art.
What does success mean to you?
Success is being able to build a business that connects others through art while also being able to live my passion as an artist. It is also my commitment to family and being able to support my goals.
