Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Childress
Hi Sara, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
How it all began! I obtained my BSN at Texas A&M University – Commerce and then started as a new graduate nurse at Baylor University Medical Center – Dallas where I completed my nurse residency program. Throughout my 6 years in the hospital, I worked on the neurology unit, emergency department and interventional radiology. I started working PRN for a mobile iv therapy and injection company and fell in love with being able to provide a more personalized experience for my clients. That eventually led me to starting my own company, Elevate Health and Aesthetics. I office out of the Wildflower Salon & Day Spa in Greenville, Texas where I provide iv therapy, neurotoxin injections, lip filler, vitamin injections and weight loss injections. I also offer mobile services for iv therapy and vitamin injections for clients who would rather stay in the comfort of their own home.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have been very blessed with how smooth of a road this has been. My husband and family have been so supportive throughout this whole adventure. It was a giant leap of faith leaving the comfort and stability of my hospital jobs for the complete uncertainty of owning my own business. There were several months where we cut our expenses down to the nitty gritty to be able to get this company started. I way underestimated what it took to start a business BUT we made it work and I am so glad we toughed it out to see the other side of it! The reason this company has been so successful is because we have prayed over it since before day 1. There is no way we could have done it without the power of prayer and our faith in God.

I specialize in providing a personalized approach to your health and aesthetic needs. Each and every client is unique and have a different set of goals. One thing that is important to me is remaining within my client’s budget. I am very transparent about my prices and always want to make sure my client is comfortable with everything I am doing. I grew up in the small town of Caddo Mills and want my services to be as accessible as possible. I love being able to keep my prices low so that more people can enjoy the services I have to offer!
