My journey into the cleaning industry actually began when I was young. I spent a lot of time with my late grandmother, and she introduced me to the value of keeping spaces clean and organized. She also cleaned homes for others, so I was able to see firsthand the pride she took in serving people through her work. Those experiences stayed with me throughout my life and eventually grew into a true passion for cleaning and helping others. When I decided to start my business, I wanted to honor her legacy so I named it Haley’s Helping Hands, using my grandmother’s maiden name. Every service that is provided is rooted in the values she taught me.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth ride. Like many small businesses, there have been challenges along the way. Starting from the ground up meant building a client base, earning trust, and securing contracts, and that often came with rejection at first. Those experiences weren’t easy, but they taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of staying consistent. Every challenge has helped me grow as a business owner, and each new client and opportunity has made the journey worthwhile.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is sitting at the kitchen table with my late grandmother while she made me peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on saltine crackers. It was such a simple moment, but it was filled with love, comfort, and togetherness.
