Hi Sharhonda, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey in the beauty industry began in 2015 with lash extensions. As a lash artist, I spent countless hours up close with women, and that proximity opened my eyes to something deeper—so many clients were investing in lashes but weren’t receiving professional skincare or facials at all. I began noticing skin concerns that were often overlooked, simply because many women didn’t know where to start or didn’t have an esthetician they trusted.
With a love for beauty and fashion always at the core, I felt called to expand my knowledge and services beyond lashes. That curiosity led me into skincare, education, and eventually becoming a licensed esthetician. What started as a passion evolved into a purpose: helping women feel confident not just in how they look, but in how they care for their skin.
Over time, Doll Face Beauty grew into a luxury skincare studio offering personalized, results-driven treatments in an elevated, fashion-forward space. The brand represents more than services—it’s about confidence, discipline, and intentional beauty. Today, I’m proud to have built a business that blends beauty, skincare, and style while empowering women to invest in themselves unapologetically.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey hasn’t always been smooth. One of the biggest challenges was building a business while still learning every side of it in real time—from mastering my craft to understanding the business, branding, and financial side of entrepreneurship. Transitioning from lashes into skincare also required educating clients on the importance of facials and long-term skin health, which took time, consistency, and trust.
Like many beauty professionals, I’ve faced seasons of burnout, self-doubt, and doing everything on my own. There were moments when growth felt slow, and I had to learn patience while staying disciplined and committed to the vision. Navigating change, investing in continued education, and learning to bet on myself were all challenges that ultimately shaped the business into what it is today.
Each obstacle became a lesson, strengthening both my confidence and my leadership. Looking back, those challenges were necessary—they taught me resilience, clarity, and the importance of staying aligned with my purpose.

What matters most to me is purpose.
Purpose in how I live, how I lead, and how I serve others. I believe that when you walk in purpose, everything else aligns — your work, your impact, and your fulfillment.
My faith, and the women I serve matter deeply to me. I’m intentional about creating spaces where women feel seen, confident, and cared for — not just on the surface, but from the inside out. Beauty and self-care are powerful tools, and when done with intention, they can restore confidence, healing, and self-worth.
I’m also passionate about legacy. Building something that outlives me, creating opportunities for others, and showing women — especially other entrepreneurs — that it’s possible to lead with excellence, integrity, and heart is incredibly important to me.
At the end of the day, what matters most is impact: serving well, staying aligned with God’s purpose for my life, and leaving people better than I found them.
