Today we’d like to introduce you to Snjezana Pruginic.
Hi Snjezana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My work started from my personal lived experiences of war which instilled in me the passion for wanting to transform how people relate to one another. I started working as a Somatic Trauma therapist with individuals and communities experiencing trauma, violence, war, displacement and incarceration. Eventually this path led me to work with front line workers in trades, social services, and public sector. Seeing the constant stress coming from unhealthy workplaces, I shifted my focus from community facing to workforce facing and started Circle Point Wellness inc, a company that supports high stress and public facing workplaces in navigating change, conflict and crisis, while ensuring the well-being of their staff and impact. We now work with across Canada and are slowly expanding into the US with collaborative partnerships such as the one we currently have with a Leadership Coach and Advisor Antoine Andrews who is Dallas based.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Entrepreneurship is anything but a smooth road. It is a constant up and down of successes, pivots, things sometimes not working out at all. The biggest challenge is ensuring one’s own mindstate is always adaptable, flexible and curious, and learning to not taking things personally. One of the things that has helped the most along the way is surrounding yourself with the right people, supports and individuals going through the stages of business that you are both currently going through as well as those that are coming up in the business growth.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Tell us about your business. What do you do?
Circle Point Wellness is a consulting and training firm on a social mission: we help high-pressure, public-facing organizations build workplaces that are psychologically safe and resilient. We got our start in Toronto working with the teams that carry the heaviest front-line strain — transit and transportation crews, hospital and health staff, city workers, universities, and large private employers running busy customer-facing operations — and we’re now bringing that work to organizations across the US, starting in markets like Dallas where the same pressures are showing up every day.
When conflict, crisis, or burnout hits the front line, we give organizations the framework and the skills to handle it without breaking the people doing the work. Our services span crisis de-escalation, trauma-informed leadership, psychological safety, conflict resolution, and organizational resilience — delivered both in person and virtually.
What do you specialize in / what are you known for?
We’re known for not selling a one-off workshop and disappearing. Before we recommend anything, we figure out where an organization actually stands. Most training vendors show up only at the crisis point, after something has already gone wrong. Our proprietary Framework The Organizational Crisis Curve™ lets us meet an organization wherever it is on that arc — whether that means preventing burnout before it starts or helping a team heal after a critical incident.
One example we’re proud of: we built a staff mental health and well-being program for a division of the City of Toronto that grew into a permanent, funded internal team. We didn’t just run a session — we helped build something that lasted. That’s the standard we’re bringing to our new US clients.
What sets you apart?
Three things. First, our work is founder-led. Snjezana Pruginic designs, leads, and stands behind every engagement personally. Clients get the practitioner who created the method — not a subcontractor reading someone else’s slides. For work this sensitive, that direct relationship is the whole point. The work and content is built from 25+ years of on the ground experience as a trauma therapist, restorative justice workers, community builder and leader. Her work is rooted in neuroscience, transformative justice, and best practices in adult learning education.
Second, we’re honest about what we can deliver. We build programs organizations can actually use and sustain, not glossy programs that look good and change nothing. If a project isn’t the right fit for us, we say so.
Third, we tailor everything. A phone de-escalation toolkit for a reservations team looks nothing like a crisis handbook for transportation crews — and we’ve built both from the ground up, in the client’s own language and real-world scenarios.
What are you most proud of, brand-wise?
That our work outlasts us. We’re also proud to run as a social-purpose business: this is mission work, and we hold our pricing so that nonprofits and community organizations can still get through the door.
What do you want readers to know?
That psychological safety isn’t soft or optional — it’s operational. The organizations we serve are managing verbal aggression, threats, mental-health crises, and chronic burnout on the front line every single day, and simply reacting after the fact isn’t a plan. Survival mode is not a strategy. As we grow into the Dallas market and beyond, we’re bringing leaders a proven way to get ahead of it — and to take care of their people while they do.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I view risk as an opportunity for growth. In my life and business I am constantly taking risks. Over the years I have learned to observe, analyze and calculate risk smartly. The best things in my life have come from smart risks.
