Exploring Life & Business with Steve and Pasha Carter of VIP Global Magazine and VIP Global Network

Today we’d like to introduce you to Steve and Pasha Carter.
Hi Steve and Pasha, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Steve and Pasha Carter are among the most successful couples in business, with the blessing of living out their passions every day. The duo has been called one of “America’s Favorite Business Couples” in the home-based business world. Over the last 20 years, the Carters have launched, invested in, and sold dozens of products, establishing themselves as savvy and profitable business-minded moguls who create their own rules for success.
Pasha grew up in Montgomery, Alabama, but in the mid-1990s, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia, a city she thought was ideal for aspiring young entrepreneurs. However, she soon realized that a regular 9-5 job would not create wealth for her.
“I was 23 years old, living in Atlanta, sleeping on my best friend’s one-bedroom apartment floor. I worked at Emory University from 9-5 and then coached gymnastics from 6-9 p.m. every day. If that wasn’t enough, I was also an NFL Cheerleader. It felt like I was working every waking hour, yet I was broke and couldn’t pay my bills.
A pivotal moment in my journey came when the NFL staff hosted an event at one of the NFL player’s mansions one evening after a game. It was the first time I saw what multi-millionaire financial success looked like up close. Right then, I said, ‘One day, I’m going to have this lifestyle.’ Instead of being on the sidelines cheerleading for millionaires, I decided to become a millionaire. I turned in my pom poms and started working on my dream. I wanted to create my own lane, generate wealth, and work on my terms. The switch flipped for me just like that. Millionaire status was suddenly within reach because I changed my mindset.”
At 23, Pasha turned a $500 investment into a multi-Million-dollar empire. Today, she is an industry legend and one of America’s most famous and influential leaders, ranked in the “Top 15 Female Networkers In The World” out of over 14 million women worldwide. Pasha was invited to speak on financial literacy and wealth building at Yale University.
She was voted Business Coach Of The Year and one of Dallas’s Most Powerful Women. She also received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from the Biden Administration.
Steve Carter is a business mogul and entrepreneur from Chicago, Illinois. He is an HBCU graduate from Howard University and began his entrepreneurial journey at 27. Today, he proudly owns the VIP Global Network, a platform for connecting entrepreneurs, investors, and thought leaders worldwide.
When Dr. Dennis Kimbro and The Napoleon Hill Foundation interviewed 100 of America’s Wealthiest African Americans for the New York Times best-seller, The Wealth Choice, Steve and Pasha were interviewed alongside Steve Harvey, Tyler Perry, TD Jakes, and other influential leaders.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to success is never smooth. It’s filled with dead ends and potholes and is always under construction. We work on our minds daily because that is the key to success. “It was difficult reprogramming my brain. I had to let go of all the misinformation about wealth I had been taught for 23 years and be willing to learn something new,” says Pasha.
“I started listening to podcasts instead of the radio. I read books on leadership instead of picking up the latest issue of Vogue. I took a mental detox from all negativity. I turned off the news. I stopped spending time with negative people and created a new circle of friends with similar goals. I treated my brain like a garden and didn’t let any weeds of doubt in. “
We’ve been impressed with VIP Global Magazine and VIP Global Network, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My husband, Steve, and I created VIP Global Magazine and VIP Global Network to provide business owners and entrepreneurs with a platform to learn, network, and shop in one place, no matter where they are. VIP Global Network is an online support system like no other because it shares highly sought-after advice and top-notch secrets from professionals who are giants in their industries.  The VIP Global Network has allowed people to put multiple income streams in place for future generations.
With VIP Global Magazine, we created something unique. Instead of simply highlighting successful businessmen and women, readers get a complete guide that will take their personal and professional lives to the next level. It’s education and entertainment at its finest. Our content will empower business leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs to achieve unimagined possibilities.
Steve and I often have conversations with our children regarding entrepreneurship and leadership. They’re constantly expressing their interest in owning businesses, and we thought there should be a way for aspiring business owners to learn from the best entrepreneurs in the world. Every child should know how to build a million-dollar business before leaving home.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
No matter what life throws our way, my husband and I are always there to support each other. We’ve been together through thick and thin. We may have had our ups and downs, but we always come out stronger than ever before. We are each other’s biggest supporters in business and life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
