Hi Steve, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
While raising our six kids in Texas we had concerns about what food we could trust to keep our family healthy. In our quest for transparency and quality, we transformed our concerns about today’s food into action.

We bought a small ranch and embarked on a journey of raising cattle and chickens for our own consumption. We discovered it surpasses anything available in any grocery store.

Now, we’re on a mission to share the goodness. We want everyone to have direct access to fresh pasture-fed, steroid-free, antibiotic-free, hormone-free, and simply better-tasting beef. Teaming up with local, 4th, 5th, and 6th generation cattle ranchers in Texas, we bring this exceptional opportunity to the Dallas/Fort Worth community

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The things of most value are never easy. Being first generation ranchers is no easy task, Fortunately, we have wonderful friends who have been a great support. With regards to the beef business, the greatest obstacle is getting the word out and connecting on social media with individuals and families who want real, unadulterated food. We have made great progress this past year, and expect to double our efforts to ensure that more people receive the numerous health benefits of purchasing fresh, local beef from ranchers like us.

We’ve been impressed with Jensen Ranch Beef Co, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a family company. We offer whole, half and quarter cows (beef) taken directly from the pasture to our Texas Certified processor where it’s dry-aged and customized to our client’s liking. Each cut of beef is vacuum sealed, flash-frozen and hand-delivered directly to our customer’s freezer. It doesn’t get fresher than that!

We love hearing back from our customers who receive the peace of mind knowing exactly where their beef came from, and are able to cook the kind of food their family deserves.

Again, our focus is inspiring customers to know where there food comes from, their physical well being, and to purchase from local farmers and ranchers like us. We’re all about health!

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
A number of years ago we felt inspired to purchase a ranch. We weren’t exactly sure why we were doing this, but felt it was the right thing for our family. Initially we thought this would be a great thing for our kids and grandkids to get away from technology and city-life., and to be more self-reliant. A year later we were raising and selling beef….
