Today we’d like to introduce you to Tianna Green.
Hi Tianna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hi, I’m Tianna — a proud wife, devoted mom, passionate Realtor, and lover of Jesus. I feel incredibly blessed to help families find not just houses, but homes where memories are made. Being a Realtor allows me to serve others with purpose and integrity, while still being present for the people who mean the most to me. My faith keeps me grounded, my family keeps me going, and real estate gives me the joy of helping others step into the next chapter of their lives.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Behind the “Sold” Sign: The Real-Life Challenges of a Realtor
Being a Realtor isn’t always as glamorous as it seems. Behind the showings and closings are long days, emotional moments, and a whole lot of prayer. As a mom, wife, and Jesus lover, I’ve learned that real estate is less about sales—and more about serving people with heart.
Here are a few real-life challenges I face:
Unpredictable Days: No two days are the same. Deals fall through, timelines shift, and you learn to stay steady through the ups and downs.
Emotional Work: Buying or selling a home is deeply personal. I’m not just a Realtor—I’m often a counselor, negotiator, and friend.
Always “On”: Real estate doesn’t stop at 5 p.m. Balancing late-night calls with family dinners takes intentional boundaries and grace.
Constant Self-Marketing: Growing your business means always putting yourself out there—online, in person, everywhere.
Handling Rejection: Not every deal closes. Not every client chooses you. But I’ve learned to trust that God’s timing is always right.
Despite the challenges, I wouldn’t trade this calling for anything. Helping families find home, being present for mine, and living out my faith in my work—that’s what drives me every day.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Why I Love Being a Realtor (Especially for First-Time Homebuyers)
Real estate is more than a career for me—it’s a calling. I’m driven by the desire to serve others with purpose, care, and integrity. One of the greatest joys in my role as a Realtor is helping first-time homebuyers step into a new chapter of their lives.
There’s something incredibly special about guiding someone through their very first home purchase. It can be overwhelming, emotional, and confusing—but that’s where I come in. I take pride in making the process feel less intimidating and more empowering. From answering questions to explaining the fine print, I’m there every step of the way—not just as an agent, but as a trusted advisor and cheerleader.
Watching a first-time buyer get the keys to their very first home? That’s the kind of moment that never gets old. It’s why I do what I do. Helping others achieve their dreams while living out my own—there’s no greater reward.
How do you think about luck?
People often ask if luck has played a role in my success as a Realtor—and honestly, I believe that what some call “luck” is really God’s favor and perfect timing. Yes, I’ve had moments where the right client called at the right time or a deal came together against all odds. But behind those moments are countless hours of showing up, building relationships, staying consistent, and trusting that God is ordering my steps.
I don’t rely on luck—I rely on faith, integrity, and hard work. Still, I’m incredibly grateful for the divine appointments, the unexpected opportunities, and the people who’ve supported and referred me along the way. If that’s luck, I’ll take it—with a humble heart and a thankful spirit.
