Hi TonyaB, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey started with a transition a few years ago. New to Dallas, I found myself without the close-knit community of women I had in Fort Worth. I wanted more than small talk. I was seeking drama-free, intentional friendships with women who valued genuine connection and shared a desire to explore Dallas together.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building this community has come with challenges. There’s no manual for leading a women’s group, and growth requires constant evolution. About year or two ago, I paused operations after facing a betrayal that forced me to reevaluate. Trust is the foundation of any thriving group, yet authentic relationships can’t be rushed. Compounding that, I was managing every aspect solo for a long time. While the road hasn’t been smooth, my commitment to this vision remains unwavering.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Pretty Girls Social was created for women 30+ who are seeking authentic friendship, elevated experiences, and meaningful connection. We curate social outings, networking events, and shared moments in a space where you can relax, be yourself, and build genuine relationships.
Being a “Pretty Girl” has little to do with appearance and everything to do with presence. It’s defined by confidence, kindness, class, and self-esteem -it’s about how you feel in your own skin.
What sets us apart is our commitment to drama-free, mature connection. We value the moments and the women in the room, which is why you’ll often see familiar faces. We’re proud that our name rings true: pretty faces, pretty attitudes, pretty souls, pretty minds.
We’re expanding in 2027 with exclusive membership, curated merchandise, elevated events, increased visibility, and deeper community building. We’re coming strong – look out for us.
How do you think about happiness?
What fulfills me most are the small, authentic moments: the genuine smiles, the real connections, and the space we create for women to show up as their true selves – free from judgment. It’s the woman who arrives solo and leaves with a new friend. It’s the heartfelt “thank you” at the end of an event. Those moments are why I do this.
