Today we’d like to introduce you to Valeria Ramirez.
Hi Valeria, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started ClickByVal because I’ve always loved the mix of business, creativity, and numbers. Marketing felt like the one career that truly combined all three. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, but honestly, even after graduating I didn’t fully know what to expect. I just knew I wanted a career where I could keep learning, building, and creating real results.
My first role was at a marketing agency, where I worked on the programmatic advertising team. That experience taught me discipline, speed, and structure. I supported multiple accounts across different industries, managed client communication, coordinated campaign materials, helped with sales orders, and made sure projects stayed on track. On the performance side, I built paid retargeting campaigns, ran weekly optimization reports, and sent monthly performance summaries so clients always knew how their campaigns were doing. It was fast-paced work with a lot of responsibility, and it gave me a strong foundation in paid media and marketing operations.
After almost two years, I realized I wanted to expand beyond paid advertising. I kept seeing marketing roles asking for skills like email marketing, social media, storytelling, SEO, and content strategy, and I got curious. I wanted to understand the bigger picture, not just one channel.
That curiosity led me to my next role as an e-commerce coordinator for an international fitness apparel brand. I specifically wanted something more dynamic, and that job delivered exactly that. It was my first time managing e-commerce websites and collaborating closely with influencers and athletes to create content. I worked on seasonal promotions, updated the website regularly, built homepage hero banners, organized product collections, and made sure the site reflected current campaigns and social proof. I also helped coordinate blogs and articles with real athlete input to support the brand story. That role taught me how important the customer experience is, and how marketing, content, and website strategy all connect.
After that, I took on a bigger challenge at a local HVAC and plumbing company, where I managed the marketing almost entirely on my own. That’s when I earned certifications in Google Ads and Google Analytics and launched my first Google Ads campaign completely from scratch. I taught myself tracking and measurement by connecting Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and conversion tracking, and I learned how important data is when you want to grow profitably. I also built landing pages and learned WordPress for the first time, which was challenging but exciting because I could finally create the full funnel, not just ads. I ran my first Meta campaigns for Facebook and Instagram, and designed both paid and organic graphics using Canva. It was a demanding role, but it’s one of the experiences that truly helped me see the bigger picture of marketing.
That position was contract-based, and once my time there ended, I realized something important. Local businesses need marketing help constantly, and many don’t have an in-house team. That’s when ClickByVal became more than just an idea. I felt ready to build my own business and offer services based on the full set of skills I had developed across industries.
Starting ClickByVal came with a learning curve. I built my website, created local business listings, and learned firsthand how important consistency is across platforms like Google Business Profile. Slowly, I began getting clients through referrals and community connections. I landed my first PPC client, helping with ads and landing pages, and through LinkedIn I gained my first long-term client where I expanded into social media and email marketing. I’ve also been invited to create content for businesses in person, filming reels, editing video, and turning raw content into polished, strategy-driven assets.
One of my biggest ClickByVal projects today is supporting an international e-commerce brand with SEO and website optimization. That includes technical audits, a full Screaming Frog crawl, a detailed SEO roadmap, and a language mapping plan for developers to improve structure, reduce duplication, and prepare the site for scalable international growth. It’s the kind of work that requires both creativity and precision, and I love that balance.
Today, I also work full-time in the roofing industry supporting SEO strategy and social media execution, and I’m proud that I’m still able to grow ClickByVal at the same time. I love working across different industries and helping businesses create marketing that feels both clear and sustainable.
Outside of marketing, I also launched a pontoon rental business on Lake Lewisville. I built the website, created the booking process, and manage reservations myself. It’s another example of what I genuinely enjoy most: building systems, creating experiences, and turning ideas into something real.
ClickByVal is truly a reflection of my journey. It’s equal parts creativity, strategy, and analytics, and it’s driven by my passion for helping businesses grow with confidence, consistency, and results that actually matter.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but the challenges have been some of the most valuable parts of building ClickByVal.
One of the biggest learning curves came when I launched my own business and took full ownership of paid advertising strategy. In marketing, especially on platforms like Google Ads, compliance and structure are critical. I deepened my expertise around website requirements, clear policies, approved language, and landing page frameworks that align with platform guidelines. That process strengthened my understanding of Google’s policies and best practices, and today I’m very confident building ad-ready websites and landing pages that balance performance, user experience, and compliance, including knowing when dedicated or subdomain landing pages make sense for paid traffic.
On the business side, there was also a learning curve in setting everything up properly. Opening an LLC, establishing a business bank account, and putting the right systems in place took time, but it helped me build a strong foundation and operate with intention from the start.
Another important lesson was patience. Marketing is not a business where results or clients appear overnight. Early on, I tested different channels to understand what attracted the right type of clients and where my efforts were best spent. That process taught me the value of consistency and focus over quick wins.
What I’ve come to really appreciate about marketing is that when you deliver real value and build trust, relationships last. That’s been my goal with ClickByVal from the beginning. Rather than taking on as many clients as possible, I focus on working with the right ones and giving them the time, attention, and quality of work they deserve. That approach allows me to build long-term partnerships and consistently deliver results that truly matter.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about ClickByVal LLC?
ClickByVal is a digital marketing studio focused on helping businesses grow with clarity, structure, and strategies that actually make sense for their goals. I specialize in performance-driven marketing, with a strong focus on paid advertising, SEO, email marketing, content strategy, and social media execution. What ties all of my work together is the ability to see the full picture, not just one channel in isolation.
What sets ClickByVal apart is that I don’t offer one-size-fits-all marketing. Every strategy is built around how a business actually operates, its audience, and its capacity to grow sustainably. I’ve worked across agency environments, in-house roles, e-commerce brands, and local service businesses, which allows me to approach each project with both strategic depth and practical execution. I’m very hands-on, from building campaigns and landing pages to optimizing websites, email flows, content, and tracking, so nothing feels disconnected.
I’m especially known for combining creativity with analytics. I care just as much about how something looks and feels as I do about how it performs. Whether it’s a Google Ads campaign, an SEO roadmap, an email sequence, or a social media strategy, the goal is always the same: visibility that turns into real results, not just vanity metrics.
Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with my clients. Many of my relationships are long-term because I prioritize quality over volume. I intentionally work with a limited number of clients so I can give each brand the attention it deserves. I want my clients to feel confident that their marketing is being handled thoughtfully, strategically, and with their best interests in mind.
What I want readers to know about ClickByVal is that it’s a brand built on intention. I believe marketing should feel empowering, not overwhelming. My goal is to help businesses understand what they’re doing, why it matters, and how it supports their growth. ClickByVal isn’t about chasing trends or quick wins. It’s about building strong foundations, clear strategies, and long-term success.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is building things and seeing them grow. Whether it’s helping a client gain confidence in their marketing, launching a new idea from scratch, or turning a complex problem into something clear and actionable, that process genuinely fulfills me.
I’m also happiest when I’m learning and challenging myself. I enjoy work that pushes me to think strategically, creatively, and analytically at the same time. That constant growth is what keeps me excited about what I do.
Outside of work, I find a lot of happiness in balance. Spending time near the water, being outdoors, and having the freedom to create my own rhythm helps me recharge and stay inspired. Ultimately, what makes me happiest is knowing that I’m building a life and a business that feel aligned, intentional, and meaningful.
