Eight years in, Cooper Tax Services has grown into a trusted tax firm serving clients nationwide across the U.S. What started with helping family members and close friends has turned into a brand I’m genuinely proud of.
It definitely took plenty of late nights, hard work, resilience, and a lot of praying — and most of all, faith. There were moments when I thought about giving up, but I stayed the course. I also couldn’t have done it without the support of my amazing team members, mentors, and so many people encouraging me as an owner to take accountability and become a better leader. Most importantly, none of this would have been possible without God. Seeing the company grow from those early struggles to billboards and commercials today is incredibly rewarding and a reminder that perseverance truly pays off.
We specialize in small business and personal income tax preparation, and our slogan, “Tax Solutions That Meet the Needs of Everyday Clients,” really reflects how we work. Our goal is to make the tax process clear, approachable, and stress-free while providing professional service, strong tax practices, and consistent communication for every client, no matter where they’re located.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey hasn’t always been easy. There were countless late nights, moments of self-doubt, and times I wondered if I should give up. I faced mistakes, like small errors on returns, and even experienced losses that affected profits. Along the way, I also had to adjust and learn how to attract clients who truly fit the services we provide. But through hard work, perseverance, and faith, I kept moving forward. Every challenge taught me something valuable and every mistake became an opportunity to learn — to make Cooper Tax Services stronger, more efficient, and better able to serve our clients.
Every time I felt like quitting, God showed me why I shouldn’t and reminded me to trust Him even more. Those experiences strengthened my faith and shaped me into a stronger believer. Looking back, I can clearly see how He carried me through every obstacle and helped turn Cooper Tax Services into the trusted, nationwide tax firm it is today.
