Hi Yessy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Where do I begin? I decided to take a leap of faith and quit my full-time job to start beauty school at Ogle School in July 2021. Shortly after my graduation and obtaining my license, I started home-based for about a year; it was a very slow start with only 1-3 clients a month.
I started promoting myself more and more through social media, my business started growing, and with the help of my husband, dad, and father-in-law, they built a “Shed” at my parents’ house. Meanwhile, my business kept growing, and I started collaborating with several body skin care and waxing companies throughout 2022. After long months of being on a waiting list for a suite, on May 2023, I officially opened the doors to my first suite studio in Downtown Fort Worth.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My pathway to where I’m at now has been one of the most challenging ones I have faced, being a wife, mom & entrepreneur & many more roles that come along being a business owner all at once. It has been a tough road. At that time my daughter, Aylin was only 3 months, even though I was very lucky and blessed to have my sister take care of her full time, as a newborn mom this was very hard for me at the beginning. I missed out on many milestones, but now, thanks to god & my amazing clients, I’m able to manage my time & be present in every other milestone.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
My gleaming clients have seen me grow & thanks to them, everything I dreamed of since I started this journey has become a reality. My clients aren’t just “my clients”; I consider them as my family & part of this journey. My gleaming girls have always been an amazing support system. Not only do they make me happy, but every single client carries a special place in my heart.
