Heather Dior Pujol of Dallas on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We recently had the chance to connect with Heather Dior Pujol and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Heather Dior, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
My mornings are sacred. The first 90 minutes set the tone for everything that follows. I wake up at 5 a.m. and give myself a few quiet moments to meditate and get centered before the day starts moving at full speed because every day is incredibly busy. Once I’ve grounded myself, I get dressed and ready, choosing an outfit that makes me feel confident and pulled together. Then I shift into mom mode, making breakfast and lunch for my daughter, getting her ready for school, and making sure everything we need for the day is in place. Before I know it, we’re out the door, stepping into whatever the day has in store.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I love partnering with brands and showcasing different pieces that I truly love. Fashion has always been a passion of mine, and getting to share that through my work is so fulfilling. I absolutely love styling my clients with Effortlesstyle, and there is nothing better than seeing how confident and happy they feel once everything comes together. That is what makes it all so rewarding. One of the things I enjoy most is being able to connect with clients nationwide. I am based here in Dallas, but I also style clients virtually, which has allowed me to reach and inspire so many amazing people. It is definitely something I want to continue to grow.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My mom saw me clearly long before I ever saw myself. She was my biggest inspiration and continues to be, even though she is no longer here. Growing up, I watched her do it all with so much grace, strength, and love. She truly was my supermom and my super woman. She showed me what it means to work hard, to lead with kindness, and to stay true to who you are.

She always encouraged me to follow my dreams and do what I love, even when the path was uncertain. She nurtured my creativity and never made me feel like my love for fashion was just a phase. Instead, she embraced it and made me believe it was something special. She saw a spark in me that I did not yet see in myself, the ability to help people feel beautiful and confident through style.

Even though she has passed, her influence is with me every single day. Everything I do, every bit of love I pour into my work, carries a piece of her spirit. She will always be the heart behind what I do. My passion for helping others feel their best through style is a reflection of the love, confidence, and grace she instilled in me.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be this: go for it. Take the leap. Live in that city or that country you have always dreamed about. Do the thing that excites you and scares you at the same time. Trust yourself and believe that everything will fall into place the way it is meant to. Life is too short to hold back, so just do it, whatever it is, and know that you are capable of so much more than you realize.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What truths are so foundational in your life that you rarely articulate them?
One truth that has always guided me is that everything begins with gratitude. No matter what season I am in, I try to find something to be thankful for, even in the small moments. I believe that how we show up for ourselves and others comes from a place of gratitude, love, and grace. Another truth I hold close is that what is meant for you will never miss you. I have learned to trust the timing of my life and to have faith that everything unfolds exactly as it should. Those beliefs keep me centered, humble, and open to whatever comes next.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace in the quiet moments of the evening after we have tackled the day. When everything slows down and my daughter and I can just be together, it brings me such a sense of calm. Whether we are talking about our day, laughing, or simply enjoying each other’s company, those moments remind me of what truly matters. I also find peace when I am creating through fashion, whether I am styling a client or putting together looks that inspire me. Fashion has always been my outlet, a space where I can express myself and help others feel confident and beautiful. Both motherhood and fashion bring me a deep sense of joy because they come from love, connection, and purpose.
