Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Simpson.
Hi Alyssa, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was that “weird” kid who talked too much about the metaphysical stuff, would spend more time in the new age section at Barnes & Noble than the CD section, listened to Art Bell, and watched bootleg alien abduction VHS’s I’d beg my dad to record for me. Mental mindset musings were my ultimate hobby, and thankfully my parents encouraged it even though no one else my age was into that lol. I was always told growing up by teachers, friends, parents, family members, and even strangers that I had an old soul. Not really knowing what that even meant, looking back, I can see it so clearly. I have always been the natural mentor for my friends, family, and peers.
When I dropped out of the corporate world, I dabbled in affiliate marketing, social media management, and digital selling, just trying to find something that stuck, and for two years I ignored my intuition to go into coaching. I kept feeling the nudge to blend my natural gift of leadership & my love for the metaphysical world together so I could help others start living their vision boards in real life! I haven’t looked back since.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart, it takes a lot of dedication, personal development, and inner work to get where you desire to be and some part of me knew that when I built my business but had no idea what would fully be in store when I took the leap of faith.
The most challenging part that I had to overcome was listening to everyone else’s advice, opinions, strategies, and 2 cents. I tried following everything the gurus told me to do and all it did was muddy my own waters.
Success looks different for everyone and I am a firm believer in using your authenticity to create your own success, finding your own path to blaze, and being someone who takes the messy & aligned action to make it all happen. When I broke up with the strategies from other people, that’s when I started to feel like my business was truly incredible.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a mindset and manifestation coach specializing in helping women become poster children for lucky girl syndrome. I have spent over 15 years learning and applying Universal Laws into my life to bring everything I’ve ever desired to fruition and the same things I’ve used and studied are what I teach my clients. I cut out all the fluff and give them the tried & true personalized manifestation blueprints they need to see their vision boards come to life.
I believe that we are all master manifesters and over the course of our lives that part of us has been dimmed or completely turned off by societal conditions and programs. I have a mission to spark that fire back in others of their innate gift and birthright of being a master manifester.
I coach in a way that is personalized to each person, no two clients get coached the same because we are all unique beings with different experiences, personalities, ideologies, and gifts. A lot of the work I do is based on rewiring the old programming in the subconscious mind to be more in alignment with people’s desires. For instance, if you have an old programmed belief that says “You have to work hard to earn money” and you desire more ease and flow in your life, that belief needs to be surgically removed and replaced with a belief that is more in alignment.
We all came to earth to experience & it’s been my mission to make the experience for everyone a fabulous one.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Not to take things so seriously. I lost both of my parents within 6 months of each other 6 years ago and that lit a fire under me to spend more time enjoying life and to prioritize joy, fun, and laughter. The only thing we have control over is our feelings and how we react – everything else isn’t worth the stress.
