Hi Amber, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am an Insurance Agency Owner. My mindset shifted from an employee to a business owner about 2 years ago. I opened my own business in November 2021. I have been knee-deep in the insurance industry for over 6 years, but I felt like it was time for me to trust the process. There is no better feeling than being in business to add value to someone’s life. I enjoy using my experience to guide people to obtain the best coverages for them and their loved ones.
My office is located in Hurst, Texas, a city right outside of Fort Worth, Texas. I am hard-working and self-motivated person who gets up every single day to chase my dream of success. Success to me is defined as creating a better life for myself and my family. I feel blessed to be in a business where I can add value to someone’s life. I love helping and love being an agent. The products I offer for my company is homeowners, renters, auto, or life insurance.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
As a business owner, I know that each day can bring its own unique set of challenges. It’s essential to be prepared to take them on and stay focused on my overall business goals. It’s not easy, but I stay motivated and determined to make my business a success. I know that hard work and dedication will pay off in the end and that’s what keeps me going. A struggle I’ve faced is facing myself. Fighting and working through myself doubt that, at times can come up. I always work through it.
We’ve been impressed with Minion Agency, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’ve gotten to know many local families as an insurance agent in Hurst. I enjoy being a part of the community, and building local relationships is one of the best parts of my job.
Part of what I like best about my job is that I can offer customers options for a wide variety of coverage from Auto, Home, Renters, Life Insurance, and services. You can depend on me to help you look at the big picture.
I’m committed to helping Hurst residents assess their immediate and long-term needs and choose options that will help them achieve their goals.
My empathy and compassion for my clients is what sets me apart from other agents. I provide compassionate, diligent, and exceptional counsel.
Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Going from an employee to a business owner is a risk in itself because you’re going from stability to uncertainty. Taking risks is something that can be both scary and exciting. It can be a great way to push yourself to grow and learn new things. Life is so much more rewarding when you take chances and try new experiences. Don’t be afraid of the unknown; embrace it and use it to reach your goals and find happiness. Take the risk. You never know what amazing things could happen!
