Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Redic.
Hi Andrea, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I was pushed into Real Estate like a storm. I am the owner of a successful hair salon Creative Impression Hair Salon. The Pandemic forced us to shut our doors. With no income and a single parent, I immediately knew I had to act fast. While sitting and praying God what now? I remembered that in 2008 I had acquired my Real Estate license but never utilized them because the market bottom had fell out and Real Estate was at its worst. However, at that time the Salon business was doing the best it had ever done so naturally, I continued working in the salon not to mention I absolutely loved what I did. I never thought about Real Estate again. Well, while sitting and praying it came so clear. God had spoken to me and all I could hear in my head was I have already provided for such a thing. Naturally, I love making people feel good about themselves that’s why I loved the cosmetology industry but I’m always wondering what else.
The Real Estate market was moving at a fast pace and all the salon talk was about Real estate and all the new clients I was meeting that were moving to Texas.
Then it hit me! I had a Real Estate license but it had been inactive for 15 years. So, I call got all the requirements I needed to reactive my license and dived right in. Well, I wanted to do more than just sell real estate so I decided to focus on helping veteran homeowners because my dad is a veteran and I remember how much harder it was for veteran’s loans than others.
Also, I understand some of the financial hardship veterans have so with certain programs I was allowed to give financial contributions from my commission to assist with closing, etc. This was perfect.
I never went into Real Estate thinking I would make a lot of money. It started out being something I could do until I could get back into the salon.
My first year in Real Estate I realize that I had found a place of purpose. Helping families find that place they would call home had become one of the most fulfilling things I had accomplished.
Each client I now call friend. I’m so overwhelmed with joy each time I sit in a closing. While I was caught in the moment of helping families accomplish the goal of homeownership, I didn’t realize that I had become top producer at my brokerage.
It’s really true what they say if you find your purpose and if you have a heart to help others the money will come. I never got into Real Estate thinking I would make a lot of money but if I’m honest, it has opened doors that I hadn’t imagined. I guess it’s God’s way of saying well done. Real estate has taught me never count the dollar count the lives you can change that where the real gems are
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I didn’t know what to expect when I got into Real Estate. I must say when you are genuine about helping others, it doesn’t seem like work at all. No one family is alike but we as realtors are the Balance to it all so although not every process is easy but they’re all worth it!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Before I started Redic Realty I owned a Tax office where we provide all types of financial services, from financial consulting, Tax Preparation, business startup, etc. With the service I provide, I am helping my clients accomplish the dream of home ownership even before they even think it’s possible. I also tell my clients it’s never No it’s just not right now but I will help you get there!
How do you define success?
Success is you being a better version of yourself than you were the day before!
