Hi Anosh, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In 2006, I graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a degree in Marketing. For 10 years, I worked in a variety of industries such as automotive, self-storage, restaurants, and medical as a marketing manager/director. All of these jobs were in the B2C sector, with multiple units. My primary goal was to drive traffic to these locations and increase sales.
In 2017, when the company I worked for was sold to a larger competitor, I found myself evaluating my options for the next phase in my professional life. I wanted to offer my expertise to small business owners who could not afford to hire a marketing manager. As digital marketing has become a primary driver for customer acquisition, I focused on offering lead generation through Facebook, Google ads, and sales funnel for small businesses. We not only generate a lead but also automate the follow-up so our clients are talking to warm leads and closing business. We have proven campaigns in 23 niches and growing. It feels great to help grow small businesses, even during these tough times.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Success is not linear. Just like most folk, in my first year, I struggled to find consistent clients. Six months after starting on my own, I moved to Dallas from Phoenix, which meant I had to grow my network from scratch. But staying consistent is the key to solving any problem. I kept networking, social media marketing, and generating outstanding results for my clients. We now consistently get referrals, which is truly satisfying to see.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
We will see Artificial Intelligence (AI) being incorporated in marketing automation a lot more, which will make marketing even more personalized than ever before. A lot of larger corporations are already using AI for data mining and other task but with economies of scale, small players will be able to harvest the same technology for their own use.
All businesses will be forced to look at the customer journey as a whole and will need to reduce friction rather than look at a customer as a transaction.
