Hidden Gems: Meet Armando Juarez of Next Level Business Consulting

Today we’d like to introduce you to Armando Juarez.

Hi Armando, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
As a child, I was always an entrepreneur, selling all sorts of things, including a guppy fish farm business (that’s how I purchased my first pair of roller skates at age 9). At the age of 16, I was invited to a Christian youth group where I was presented with the Good News that Jesus came to fulfill all prophecies about Him and died on the cross as redemption for my sins and was born again, becoming adopted as a child of God by asking God for forgiveness and believing in Jesus. Best day EVER! Since then, my purpose in life is to share the love and message of Jesus with everyone, everywhere, every day.

I did my post-graduate studies at the University of Southern California in Business Administration and Marketing, and from there got corporate experience working for Citibank and Warner Bros.

During my time at Warner Bros., my parents had 11 investment properties they promoted as vacation rentals in Acapulco, Mexico. Their occupancy rate was very low and they asked me to help with their business, so I moved to Mexico to do that. I immediately developed the company structure, logo, website, systems, processes, and listed their properties in all 5 Global Distribution Systems that travel agencies use and in 50+ travel websites like, Travelocity, Expedia, Hotel.com, etc. Over the next 7 years, the company grew to over 400 Luxury Vacation Rentals in different beach destinations, including the Caribbean, overseeing the operation with over 2,500 employees.

It was during that time that business owners would ask me how I grew the company or asked advice for their own business and I loved teaching and giving advice. I became aware of two of the spiritual gifts God has given me: Teaching and Serving. So I started consulting casually, and realized God’s calling for me was to serve business owners. However, in spite of my own entrepreneurial experience, my corporate experience and my education, I knew I had many blind spots and gaps in my knowledge, so I sought extensive training in methods, tools and techniques through a national consulting association and became an Accredited Business Consultant.

While I lived in Palm Beach, Florida, I consulted many companies in various industries, gaining more and more experience helping businesses. Years later, a large, national consulting firm with thousands of consultants recruited me to work for them, and it was there where I perfected my craft as a business consultant. I travelled all over the U.S. helping hundreds of companies in almost every industry and becoming a specialist in Startup, Turnaround, Growth, Succession and Exit strategies consulting. It is through this experience that I feel I obtained my “doctorate” in business consulting. As our family grew to three children, I decided to stop traveling to be present with my family and left the corporate consulting world, to work again for my own company, Next Level Business Consulting.

My family and I moved to Dallas, Texas in 2021 and my business consulting client base has been booming. God opened the door to my first consulting project in Dallas which was the NTTA (North Texas Tollway Authority). I also joined SCORE Dallas, a national nonprofit organization that receives funding from the Small Business Administration (SBA) to provide free education and business mentorship to business owners so their businesses can thrive. During this time I also became a Certified Business Mentor. SCORE Dallas has 145 business mentors, and I volunteer as a business mentor and as part of the Executive Leadership Team as the Director of Donor Relations. In 2025, I was recognized as being in the top 1% of consultants by consulting over 300 companies during the year.

Currently, I continue to grow my consulting business as well as three other companies I founded and operate to help and serve business owners so they can thrive.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t always been easy. In 2008, at the height of my Vacation Rental Company in Mexican Beach destinations, the Mexican government declared war on the cartels, and violence erupted. This disrupted the travel and hospitality industry in Mexico, and my vacation rental company started to lose customers. After two years of declining sales, I moved with my family to Palm Beach, Florida, and began consulting businesses as the vacation rental company faded. In a way, God used those circumstances to show me my true calling to help business owners.
