Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Weber.
Hi Ashley, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
From since I could remember I’ve always been creative & a “think outside the box” type of girl. That mindset ultimately led me to make one of the biggest decisions of my life & drop out of college in 2018 to pursue a career that genuinely excited me. From there I enrolled into esthetics school in 2019, with my main passion being eyelash extensions. At the time, waxing wasn’t even on my radar. Once graduating, I immediately took my state exams, got my esthetics license & was ready to jump into the beauty industry. By the time i graduated, I lost my passion for eyelash extensions & unexpected shifted to waxing instead.
I got a job at a waxing chain very quickly, thanks to a friend & fell even more in love once I was hands on with clients. Unfortunately, my time there was short lived. Poor management and the way the waxers were treated made me realize I wanted something different, not only for myself, but for future clients. With only 6 months of experience, I made what felt like the scariest decision of my life and leased my own salon suite. Peachywaxbyash was officially born, October 2020! Looking back it truly was one of the scariest but best decisions I ever made for myself.
Over the next two years, I poured everything I had into growing that little suite. Thanks to the incredible support of my clients and the community that believed in me from the very beginning, it quickly became more than I ever imagined it could be. Eventually, I reached a point where I knew it was time to take another leap of faith.
On my 3 year anniversary is when I opened my first store front, Peachy Wax Waxing Lounge! What started as one lil esthetician’s dream has grown into a team of passionate wax specialists who genuinely care about making every client feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. My goal has always been to combine the warmth, professionalism & heart of a small business with the consistency and convenience people often expect from larger chains.
Til this day, I still pour my heart and soul into Peachy Wax every single day. Every challenge, every risk, and every milestone has helped shape not only this business, but who I am as a person, esthetician & entrepreneur. While I have no idea where this journey will take me next, I know one thing is for sure… I will never stop learning, growing, and I’m excited for the ride!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not lol. Being the first esthetician and entrepreneur in my family came with its own challenges. My family, at first, believed college was the only path to building a successful and stable career. While I understood where they were coming from, I knew deep down it wasn’t the path that I would be happy in the long run. Even though it was scary, my mom never stopped supporting me and encouraging me to chase what truly made me happy. Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful for that support because it gave me the confidence to take a path that was far from conventional.
Entrepreneurship has also come with a completely different set of obstacles that no one really prepares you for. As a woman business owner, I’ve unfortunately experienced being taken advantage of by contractors and have made plenty of expensive mistakes along the way. At the time, honestly a lot of those moments felt like the end of the world but they’ve ultimately taught me to it’s okay to stand up for yourself, trust my instincts, ask more questions, and protect both myself and my business.
Although the journey has been far from easy, I truly don’t regret a single part of it. Every obstacle has been a lesson, and every lesson has made me a stronger person. I believe growth comes from being willing to keep moving forward, even when the road isn’t smooth.

Peachy Wax Waxing Lounge is a woman owned waxing salon specializing in female Brazilian waxing, built on the belief that a waxing appointment should feel comfortable, educational, and empowering, not intimidating. Although female Brazilian waxing is at the heart of what we do, our highly trained specialists are experienced in full-body waxing services. Whether it’s a client’s first Brazilian or a routine underarm, leg, or even upper lip wax, our goal is always the same, that every client leaves feeling genuinely cared for.
What sets us apart is our attention to detail and our commitment to raising the standard of the waxing experience. Rather than rushing clients in and out, we prioritize quality over quantity by allowing time for proper consultations, tweezing, extractions when needed, personalized aftercare education and answering questions so every client leaves feeling informed and confident, not just smooth.
One of our most popular services is our Brazilian wax with Treatment. It includes a hydrogel mask chosen for each client’s skin needs, LED light therapy, soothing and hydrating products, cooling ice globes, and a nourishing moisturizer to complete the service. Each step is intentionally designed to calm the skin, support healthy recovery, and elevate the overall waxing experience.
Beyond the services themselves, I’m most proud of the culture we’ve created. From the moment someone walks through our doors, our goal is for them to feel welcomed, respected, and comfortable. We understand that waxing can make people feel vulnerable, so we’ve built a space where clients feel heard, never judged, and always leave with more confidence than when they arrived.
As Peachy Wax continues to grow, my mission remains the same… to continue raising the standard of waxing in Arlington, Tx through education, genuine care, and an unforgettable client experience. Every decision we make is centered around creating a business our clients can trust, while building a team that shares the same passion.
At the end of the day, I don’t want Peachy Wax to simply be known as a place to get waxed. I want it to be known as the place where people feel genuinely cared for.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite memories was a family trip to Disney World after I graduated high school. My family from New York and Texas all came together, and the entire trip was filled with so much love, laughter, and happiness. Looking back, none of us knew it would be the last time everyone would all be together in the same place. That’s what makes the memory so special to me. It reminds me that it’s never really about where you are, it’s about who you’re with. That trip reminded me how quickly life changes and I’ll always cherish the moments I get to spend surrounded by my family.
