Hidden Gems: Meet Candace Holyfield of Six Figure Spa Chick

Today we’d like to introduce you to Candace Holyfield.

Hi Candace, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started as a licensed massage therapist and a few years later started teaching others how I was successful on Groupon.

Once I mastered teaching others on how to make money with their spa, I started doing events.

I created the first Black Spa Expo and everything took off big for the 2nd time in my career. The first big take off was making six figures on Groupon.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Wheww so many obstacles along my entrepreneurial journey. Covid shutting all spas down was the worst obstacle ever. Then I had pre-sold 800 tickets to my spa expo but Covid happened. I over $30k in refunds for my China trips. It was a lot of obstacles just last year alone.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Six Figure Spa Chick?
Six figure spa chick is the number 1 marketing firm for Med spas and I’m in partnership with T Alexandria Med Spa With Owner Nurse Tracee Wilson. We specialize in Botox and micro-blading at the spa. We host entrepreneur events to network and of course learn marketing.

Our business is also a community service haven for the Dallas area. Tracee hosts back to school drives, health days and block parties. I host the marketing classes for local entrepreneurs. These is some of the reasons our business is unique.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
My favorite podcast is social proof. My favorite book is Super fans by Pat Flynn.
