Hi Chad, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Music and ministry have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began serving in the local church, leading worship and discovering that music could do far more than create a moment it could point people to Jesus, bring hope, and communicate truth.
As the years went on, God opened doors for me to serve in a variety of ministry settings and become more involved in Christian music. Along the way, a serious car accident brought everything to an unexpected pause. What felt like a setback became a season of growth, recovery, and dependence on God. That experience reshaped my perspective and deepened my understanding of faith, purpose, and the stories that connect us as people.
In recent years, I felt God leading me to pursue music again with renewed passion and intentionality. I began writing songs, developing new material, connecting with churches and ministry leaders, and stepping into opportunities to perform and lead worship at events, conferences, and gatherings.
While worship music remains a significant part of who I am, my songwriting extends beyond the church stage. I enjoy writing songs about love, relationships, life experiences, and the everyday moments that shape us. Whether it’s a worship song or a love song, my goal is the same to create honest music that resonates with people and reflects the values and faith that have shaped my life.
Today, I continue to serve in ministry while growing as an artist and songwriter. More than building a platform, I want to faithfully use the gifts God has given me to tell meaningful stories, encourage others, and create music that connects with listeners wherever they are in life.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: every person has a story, and every story matters. Whether through music, ministry, or community outreach, my goal is to encourage people, inspire hope, and help others discover purpose in their journey.
Many people know me through worship leadership, but Chad Evans Music extends beyond that. I write and perform worship songs, as well as songs about life, love, faith, and the experiences that shape us. My desire is to create authentic music that connects with people wherever they are.
That same passion led to Project Story, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people recognize the value and purpose of their own story. In many ways, Chad Evans Music and Project Story are two expressions of the same mission using music, creativity, and storytelling to make a positive impact.
What sets my work apart is authenticity. Everything I create is rooted in real-life experiences, faith, and a desire to connect with people in a meaningful way. More than anything, I’m proud of the lives that have been encouraged through a song, a conversation, or an act of service.
At the end of the day, my hope is simple: to remind people that their story matters and that there is always hope for the next chapter.
What does success mean to you?
I define success by faithfulness, not recognition. If the music I write, the conversations I have, or the work we do through Project Story helps even one person find hope, discover purpose, or take the next step in their journey, I consider that a success.
Awards, numbers, and opportunities are all appreciated, but they aren’t what ultimately drive me. Success is knowing that I’ve used the gifts God has given me to serve others with authenticity and point people toward hope. If people walk away encouraged, reminded that their story matters, or inspired to make a difference in someone else’s life, then I feel like I’ve accomplished what I set out to do.
