My is Cherrell Green. Since 2015, I have been living life to the fullest in Dallas, Texas, but a part of me will always be from Mississippi. Being a Jackson State University alum, this university has a special place in my heart.
Currently, my days are filled with diverse roles and responsibilities. As the Owner of The Greenprint, my consulting group, I immerse myself in the intricacies of personal and business development. Juggling that, I’m also involved in the Trucking Industry and navigating the real estate world with my Texas license. It’s a whirlwind, but I love the challenges and triumphs each venture brings.
Community service has been woven into the fabric of my life since 2015, and it’s more than just a checkbox—it’s a commitment to creating a positive impact. Getting hands-on and actively participating in initiatives that give back to the community is a source of immense pride for me.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, the journey hasn’t been entirely smooth. Like any path, there were challenges to overcome. Navigating the complexities of running a consulting group and managing entrepreneurial ventures in the Trucking Industry and real estate comes with its set of hurdles. However, each obstacle has been a learning experience, shaping and strengthening my resilience along the way.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the COVID-19 crisis?
The pandemic presented unique challenges, especially as a truck owner. The epidemic caused supply chain disruptions, which resulted in erratic demand and logistical challenges. I learned the value of flexibility and strategic planning in the face of unforeseen events by navigating through these uncertainties. It emphasized how important it is to maintain awareness and agility in a constantly shifting environment, as well as the necessity of strong business models. Building trusting connections with customers and suppliers also became critical, highlighting how interwoven the trucking sector is. Within the realm of truck ownership, the pandemic taught us the value of a strong support system, adaptation, and resilience.
