Hidden Gems: Meet Danielle Bradley of Six:33

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Bradley.

Hi Danielle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
Growing up I was known to be bossy, even in being the second to the youngest. I always knew that I would own my own business, create a work environment that people will enjoy working at, and ultimately be “my own boss”, as most of us desire. However, the pathway to get to that place of ownership was unknown to me. I started off going the traditional way. You know, go to college, graduate, and start a great career. Initially, I was pursuing Physical Therapy to get my doctorate and eventually own my own Physical Therapy clinic. I attended Tarrant Count College the first two years and graduated with my Associate of Arts. After completing my two years there, I transferred to the University of North Texas in Denton, and there I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. One step closer to becoming a physical therapist, until I moved back home. Ideally, I was moving back home to save up for Physical Therapy school. However, life turned around for me when I gave my life to Christ. It was then, the entire trajectory of my life changed. I had lost complete interest in Physical Therapy while working as a Physical Therapist Technician. All these years of schooling, just to completely lose interest in the “career” I thought I wanted. God had a different vision in mind, and it was only a matter of time before I got in agreement with His vision for me. I wanted the life God wanted for me, but I had the hardest time relinquishing full control to Him. I knew he place ownership in me, but timing is everything. I wanted to own my own business NOW. My impatient ambitions led me to starting my own fitness business, “Jackie J. Fitness.” Jackie J ran a good race, but it also left me broke, broke, and more broke. It was like I had holes in my pockets. After two years of doing full-time entrepreneurship, I got into a car accident that demanded me to stop training. At the end of 2019, God told me to silence the business completely. As much as I wanted to resist, I obeyed. I silence the business and stop personal training. Shortly after that, COVID happened, and everything shut down. As painful as it was to go back to working a job, God had a bigger plan in mind. During the shutdown, my finances were restored tremendously, and I was getting back on track financially. I eventually left that job, got a work-from-home job, and revisit God about this entrepreneur calling. NOW, it was God’s timing. He gave me the name, the vision of the logo, the blueprint, the steps, the resources, the mentors, and everything I needed to launch the business HE intended for me. The ultimate vision was still intact, I just needed to get in agreement with God’s plan, timing, and path to get me there. Now, the business name is Six:33. It’s far beyond a clothing brand. It’s a collection of “Faith, Fitness, and Fashion.” It’s inspired by the scripture Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all of these things will be added unto you.” This scripture isn’t just a Bible scripture to me, it’s the reality of my life, my journey with Christ, and owning my own business. I had to learn how to seek Him first, follow Him, and trust Him in the process, while believing that ALL things will be added unto me at the appointed time. Now my business is more established and more fruitful than it has ever been. Timing is everything. No more holes in my pockets!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not even close. This road has been bumpy, curvy, and scary the entire way. However, it comes with the territory of owning a business. When you carry vision, tests and trials are designed to come to test the authenticity of that vision. I risked it all, and it left me broke. Maintaining the capital was my struggle, but I didn’t let that stop me. I was unwaveringly committed to the vision. Yes, I had to drawback, but during that time I got a little smarter and wiser, then I jumped back in the game.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Six:33 is inspired by the scripture, Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” It is a collection of “Faith, Fitness, and Fashion”. An authentic Christian clothing brand and business, not limited to only Christians, but for all that can use some inspiration in faith, fitness, and fashion.

I create, I teach, I train, and I motivate/inspire others to become who they are designed to be and do what they are created to do. All items are custom made and designed by me. I’m also a certified personal trainer. I’m mainly known for my new business/brand and being a licensed personal trainer.

I believe my personality, my “eye” and skills to create a design that has a message behind it, and my ability to connect, relate, and encourage different groups of individuals from all walks of life sets me apart from others.

I’m most proud about my brand representing my faith. It’s not just all talk for me, it’s my reality. I live by it and committed to incorporating it in my life to the best of my ability day by day. I’m proud that my brand will be, and is a message for the masses.

We offer faith tees, hoodies, sweatshirts, jogger sets, etc.; and fitness apparel. As Six:33 continues to rapidly evolve and expand, personal training services and more clothing apparel/items will be offered.

How do you define success?
I believe success looks different from person to person. To me, success is the ability to maintain focus, perseverance, and determination to establish a vision that is valuable not just for you, but for others to benefit from as well.
