Hello Empower Her Ministries, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our business is only where we are today because of prayer, trusting in God, and applying biblical truths in everything we do. Empower Her literally started with $0! All we had was a blog to share content to encourage others in faith. When we finally opened up a bank account, we only had the minimum amount in the account. Then, the impossible happened. Somebody donated a generous donation to our business after three years of consistent praying, trusting in God, and applying biblical truths! With God’s help, we have been able to make a great impact on women and ministries throughout the world! Did we mention the generous donation came less than a year after opening the bank account? Our story is just beginning, and we believe there are more great things to come for our business, Empower Her Ministries.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Certainly not! In the first year of starting Empower Her, our world faced a pandemic. We were literally planning months prior to create an event series, Empower Her Meet Up. The event series ended up being postponed due to national regulations and restrictions. We learned how to pivot and started to create innovative ways to keep our Tribe, aka Honey Bunches engaged. What we thought was the end of our business actually turned into something greater!

Our business helps women grow stronger in faith!
We create faith-based products to empower women and encourage women spiritually. Here recently, we were able to create the first-ever faith-based affirmation cards called Empower Her Cards. Empower Her Cards includes 104 Cards with biblical declarations and verses for women to affirm intentionally! We also have digital products, online/in-person events, apparel, and a weekly podcast.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk-taking.
One of the biggest risks our business took was simply just starting. All we had was a belief that God wanted us to start…and we did it! The second biggest risk was to keep going! Meaning our risk continues. We are really out here ‘faithin’ it till we make it’. Everything we do, we do in faith, trusting that God will provide all we need!
