Today we’d like to introduce you to Francisco Chacon.
Hi Francisco, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In 2017 after having worked in painting, plumbing apprentice, carpet cleaning and maintenance technician, the idea of working on my own came to my mind, we partnered with a cousin and an uncle and we started working in painting nothing more, which is an area with a lot of competition, in less than a year my partners decided to separate and not continue with the project or the dream, it requires a lot of sacrifice from one as well as from the family at that time I was single, I had no family unlike them , I decided to continue and in that process I only met a couple of investors who gave me the opportunity to do painting jobs for them in houses for sale, little by little and with the work I did for them I was doing more than just painting , I got fully involved in the remodeling, at the same time I tried to train myself, I attended conferences and trainings from different material suppliers that we used at that time, they give these types of trainings, they call them workshops where they teach the products they sell and the way correct installation. In this way, I was gaining more experience and polishing myself professionally since I had the practice but, at the same time the theory and the adequate training.
I kept working on my own at the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020 with the covid it was more difficult and I gave up, and I started working again for a company that provides facility services in commercial properties, always keeping in mind that I was going to try again, clients that I already had always looked for me and I did work for them in my spare time and on the weekends, in 2020 I already had a life partner and we were expecting my first daughter, many times it crosses my mind to work for someone or a company and not have that concern or responsibility, but I like what I do, I generate employment for more people who have families and leaving everything that has been achieved stops me and makes me keep going, I am living the American dream, the true American dream, because we all have the opportunity to grow and do something different in this beautiful country, but it requires sacrifice, it requires a lot of mental education on the part of oneself to motivate oneself, fill oneself with information that helps to reach the goal one is looking for and overcome it.
In this way, I was doing more work, meeting more people who believed, gave us the opportunity, and continue to give it to us, referring to their contacts, family, clients; we have done work for companies that are out of state, for the uptown district, etc.
We are a family business; my wife, my brother, his partner, my mother, we have part of the responsibility in making this work; they supported me and encouraged me all the time when I felt that I was giving up. I still could not say that this is something completely solid but we are on that path, we continue working every day to achieve it, Many people think or may think it is luck, but the reality is sacrifice, discipline, empathy because it is not just about getting rich, but also about being aware that people or our clients are like us, people who work, We always give our best, and we do each job as if it were for us…
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been; we’ve run into everything from misunderstandings to scams,

We are a restoration and remodeling company. We specialize in painting, but we do all kinds of work, framing, siding, carpenter, floor, concrete, etc. We work commercial and residential.
– the empathy with which we work differentiates us from others; we treat our clients as a friend, a family member; we are honest with them, we tell them what they really need, we advise them, we are with them from the beginning to the end of each project to make sure what they want is achieved, it is not just selling them our service, getting the money and that’s it.
I am proud of everything we have been doing, one of the jobs that have filled me with great satisfaction due to the joy of the client, we built an office, and it was his first office; the final result was noticeable in the happiness of the client, and I saw myself in my client, an entrepreneur who was achieving his goals.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite memories of my childhood is together with my siblings and my parents watching the Lion King movie, I think in the year 1997; we are from El Salvador; that was the first movie I saw type of cinema, my dad worked in a company that was concerned about the recreation of its employees and families, and if I remember correctly they set the in their facilities that looked like cinemas for their employees and families for family day in El Salvador.
