Hi Hallie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I started Grady Ln Boutique June 1st, 2020! I had just left a bad marriage & moved back in with my parents with my newborn baby. I had decided to turn my life around from where I was and choose my son & I. I saved up money & started building my small business as best as I could as a single mom. I did markets, I was constantly working on growing and being better! Late nights, researching, marketing – I put my whole heart into this – I wanted to be able to be the mother I needed to be & knew I could be.
Then I opened my brick & mortar store June 26th, 2021!
I was ecstatic – knowing I had worked so hard to get to this point & seeing it happen, was a dream come true.
Since then, Grady Ln Boutique has grown more than I ever could have imagined. The community that has been built around this business and in this business provides a home for so many – a safe space to come & know that they’ll find something made for them.
I based my boutique around being size inclusive & all-inclusive.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Unfortunately, no. It was not a smooth road.
I went through a divorce while building Grady Ln – court papers, court dates, really stressful times.
I was a single mom who was with my baby 24/7 – I had to learn how to manage a business and my son. I was chasing my dreams while I had my biggest blessing in my arms the whole way.
Covid was also a struggle. I started right in the middle of the pandemic & had to learn how to do things differently. It was a new ballpark as most things were online!
I learned how to use social media and grow my following to pursue growing Grady Ln!
We’ve been impressed with Grady Ln Boutique, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Grady Ln Boutique specializes in western bohemian fashion in ALL sizes. GL carries sizes XS-3XL! We cater to anyone who wants to shop here & support everyone who walks through the door and beyond.
We are the first boutique in our area that specializes in all sizing and caters to all.
I am most proud that women feel comfortable coming into my shop knowing they can find something in the size they wear and feel confident walking out.
What does success mean to you?
I define success as when I get messages on Instagram, or emails from women telling me that they felt beautiful here. They felt confident & courageous in their items from Grady Ln.
I define success as knowing that the hard work I’ve put in is boosting women’s self-confidence & growing their love for themselves.
I define success as helping others.
