Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Bryant.
Hi Heather, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In 2020 I decided to fully commit to letting my heart guide my life’s path. I learned how to receive its messages and take action inspired by its desires. I quit my hospital job and went to massage school. Every step of the way my heart showed me the next direction. I felt drawn to certain modalities that felt exciting and energizing. Out of massage school I started Healing Arts with Heather with a mission to create a space where my clients could deeply rest and allow their bodies and minds to heal with the power of presence, touch and sound. Over the years my practice has grown with my personal growth. I am always exploring how to better assist my clients. I was traveling to my clients for a few years but my heart yearned for a stable space clients could come to as sanctuary. In early 2025 I found Healing Arts with Heather’s home in Historic Downtown Cedar Hill.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The struggles have been a gift. My practice is so woven into my personal journey that the areas that require attention and healing in my internal world are projected into my work. There is always some degree of battle between fear of the unknown and risk taking vs surrendering to my heart. Self doubt and issues with confidence and worth make frequent appearances. It’s been a beautiful journey to work through these things to help allow my dreams to manifest.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Healing Arts with Heather is a one-woman healing arts practice. I am a licensed Massage Therapist trained in the practices of Craniosacral Therapy and Sound Healing. I weave these powerful modalities together to offer sessions that create opportunity for deep healing. I focus so much of my work on my clients nervous systems; the system in charge of how we experience ourselves, our body and our world. I am so honored to work with every beautiful soul that finds me and so grateful to be able to live my passion and purpose.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
When I look back onto my childhood for fond memories the main thing that comes up is animals. I have always loved and cared for animals so much. I have many memories of nursing wounded or orphaned animals back to health. I befriended all the animals around me and felt so honored to be close with horses, cows, dogs, cats, birds, lizards and so many more. Animals helped nurture the deep caring for others I had in my heart and were a safe space for my nervous system to find connection since I struggled with social anxiety and shyness with people.
