Hidden Gems: Meet Jake Weber of Hygenie.ai

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jake Weber.

Hi Jake, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey started when I left the U.S. Air Force after eight years of active duty, I found myself asking one of the biggest questions of my life: What comes next?

I had just gotten married, my wife and I had moved to Texas, and we knew we wanted to build a family and a future together. But for the first time in a long time, I didn’t have a clear mission in front of me. I started working in private security, thinking that law enforcement might be the next logical step after military life. But deep down, I felt called to build something different—something that allowed me to create, innovate, and impact others on a larger scale.

Not long after, I transitioned into technology sales, working for a small tech company before eventually moving into SaaS. That’s where everything started to click for me. Over the years, as I worked through different CRMs and sales systems, I began noticing serious inefficiencies—things that slowed teams down, created friction between reps and leadership, and made it nearly impossible to forecast accurately.

It became clear that the problem wasn’t effort—it was the systems themselves. Sales reps were burning out trying to manage tools that weren’t built to serve them. Leaders were making decisions based on incomplete or outdated data. The gap between what was happening in the field and what showed up in the CRM was massive.

That realization became the spark that led me to build hygenie.ai—an AI-powered sales coach and automation tool to clean and enhance sales data in real time. It’s a platform built to solve the very problems I’d spent years seeing firsthand: CRM adoption, rep productivity, and forecasting accuracy.

What drives me today is the same thing that drove me in the military, a sense of mission and the desire to build something that makes a difference. My passion for creating is insatiable. Taking an idea from nothing and watching it grow into something that helps people, that’s what gives me purpose.

At the end of the day, my vision is simple: if I can add value to the market by solving real problems, then everyone wins. The companies I serve gain clarity and confidence, and the people I employ gain purpose and opportunity.

From the discipline of the Air Force to the innovation of AI, this journey has been about more than just business, it’s been about impact, service, and the belief that building something meaningful is one of the most powerful ways we can contribute to the world

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I had tons of headwinds. I had to build relational and technical credibility. I came from a system in the military that was very strict and rigid and didn’t offer a lot in the way of how to build and scale a Business. I knew that chips were stacked against me, but I like I mentioned I had the insatiable desire to build and create something that could add value. One of the biggest struggles I dealt with first was enviroment, I needed to get around the right people in the right places so we could build something together. I needed to be able to bounce my ideas off of people who had actually been on the journey before me, this was a huge gap from where I was to where I wanted it to be because I didn’t have the right associations and people in my life. Another huge struggle wasn’t the way I thought. I didn’t know how to be a Business Owner, I didn’t know how to think about creating a sass company, I had to take myself to school pay for coaches and tech excavators in order to improve myself so that I could become someone that not just built a successful sass company, but also was an example and a template for other Founders and Business Owner’s to follow. Lastly, technical skill. I was not a technical founder. So teaching myself to code, build and test products I was building was a long and strenuous process. But at the end of it, I was extremely happy I did.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
At hygenie.ai, we’re building something I wish I had years ago when I was working in sales, an AI-powered sales coach and automation platform that helps teams clean their outreach and crm data, automate their follow-up process, and perform at their highest level.

Our platform is designed to solve three core problems that nearly every sales team struggles with: CRM adoption, rep productivity, and forecasting accuracy. We do that by combining artificial intelligence with practical workflow automation to help reps sell smarter, not harder. Think of hygenie.ai as the bridge between human skill and machine precision — it listens, learns, and coaches in real time, helping sales professionals perform better while giving leaders clear, accurate visibility into their pipeline.

What sets us apart is that we’re not just another software tool, we’re a sales enablement and training system built from real-world experience. I spent years inside tech companies, working firsthand with CRMs and seeing the breakdown between sales reps and leadership. I built hygenie.ai from the ground up to fix those problems.

I’m most proud of the fact that we’re creating technology that doesn’t replace people; it empowers them. Our mission is to bring clarity, confidence, and consistency to the sales process. We want every company that uses hygenie.ai to feel more organized, more productive, and more in control of their revenue because they can control the top of the funnel with our tool Genie Copilot.

For our readers, I want them to know that hygenie.ai is about more than automation, it’s about transformation. We’re here to help sales teams operate with integrity, efficiency, and excellence. Whether you’re a growing startup or an established enterprise, our goal is the same: to help you clean, coach, and close with confidence.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the people who believed in me. My wife, Delani, has been my anchor through every season of building—her faith, encouragement, and partnership have been the foundation of everything.

I’ve also been fortunate to have mentors in my life, These men have formed and shaped me before there was even a Hygenie.ai so that I could build something unique and add value back to others. These men helped me refine the vision and direction of hygenie.ai, plus challenged and sharpened me along the way to not settle and always build a product to solve a problem.

No one builds anything great alone. Every person who’s supported, challenged, or inspired me has helped turn this idea into something real.
