We’re cousins by blood and partners by passion, and together, we launched our mobile bar business—a dream deeply rooted in family, flavor, and creating unforgettable experiences. With a shared background in catering passed down through generations, we bring a genuine love for hospitality and creativity to every event we serve.
As devoted moms and wives, we each bring our own unique flair to what we do. Jazmyn, a mom of two and wife to a partner from a different cultural background, infuses diverse flavors and heartfelt touches into every celebration. Jamilah, also a proud mom of two and inspired by her husband’s Caribbean roots, adds warmth, richness, and flavor to every drink and interaction.
Our passion for creating memorable moments is what drives us. What started as a family legacy has grown into our mobile bar journey—where we serve more than just drinks. We’re serving joy, connection, and memories that linger long after the last toast.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting this business has been one of the most rewarding yet challenging journeys we’ve ever taken. As moms, wives, and entrepreneurs, we quickly realized that running a mobile bar isn’t just about showing up and serving drinks—it takes an incredible amount of behind-the-scenes work. The time commitment alone was something we didn’t fully expect. From building the brand, managing bookings, sourcing inventory, and handling logistics, to actually being on-site for events, it often feels like we’re working around the clock.
Financially, we had to stretch ourselves more than we anticipated—there are so many hidden costs in starting and maintaining a business like this. Equipment, licenses, insurance, branding—it adds up fast. And while we’re proud of how far we’ve come, we’ve definitely had moments where we questioned whether we could juggle it all.
At the same time, we’re raising kids, managing households, supporting our partners, and continuing our own education and work commitments. It’s a lot. But what keeps us going is the passion behind it—the joy we see in our clients’ faces when everything comes together, and the pride in knowing we’re building something of our own that reflects our values, our culture, and our creativity.
It’s not easy—but it’s worth it. We’re growing every day, not just as business owners, but as women, moms, and role models for our kids.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
When it comes to Traveling Bliss, we’d say luck has played a role—but it’s been a mix of both good and bad. Starting and growing a business, especially as moms juggling family, school, and life, doesn’t come without its challenges. There have been moments where it felt like everything was working against us—unexpected costs, event cancellations, last-minute changes, equipment delays—you name it. That’s the bad luck part.
But even in those tough moments, we learned something valuable. We adapted, we pushed through, and we showed ourselves that we’re capable of so much more than we thought.
On the flip side, we’ve been incredibly lucky with the people we’ve met along the way—clients who believed in us, vendors who supported our vision, and opportunities that seemed to land right when we needed them most. Sometimes, the timing of it all feels like divine alignment more than chance.
Ultimately, luck may have opened a few doors, but it’s been our passion, hard work, and faith in each other that have kept this business growing. We believe you create your own luck when you show up with intention, stay ready, and pour your heart into what you do.
So yes, luck has played a role—but a TON of grit, grace, and a whole lot of love have played an even bigger one.
