Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Rikhlyuk
Hi Jessica, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story is one of resilience, ambition, and creativity. I was born to immigrant parents who left the Soviet Union, Ukraine specifically even though it was not a country when they left, in search of a better life in America. Watching their relentless work ethic showed me that no matter what happens in life I have to keep going. Their determination shaped who I am today, instilling in me the mindset that challenges are just stepping stones to growth.
Nine years ago I moved to DFW from Chicago and found myself in the world of marketing, working in small businesses. What began as a job quickly turned into a passion and over the years I continued to grow, learning the ins and outs of marketing. In early 2024 after working at a digital marketing agency I started dreaming of launching my own female owned agency that prioritized creativity, authenticity, and results. By August 2024 that dream became a reality with the launch of Joyify Collective, a name inspired by my own, Jessica Joy. The first American name in my family by the way…
As a single mom of two, balancing entrepreneurship and motherhood is no small feat but it fuels my purpose every day. My children inspire me to push forward, to create something that not only provides for them but also sets an example of perseverance and passion. When I am not working on Joyify Collective you will probably find me spending time with my 17 backyard silkie chickens. Eggs are a hot commodity right now so I am happy to have my girls.
My approach to digital marketing is rooted in strategy and analytics. I do not believe in one size fits all marketing. Instead I take a deep dive into a client’s digital infrastructure, analyzing what they are already doing and identifying the gaps. From there I determine the best marketing channels for their business and develop a plan to help them grow. Numbers speak first in my process because data driven decisions lead to smarter marketing. That is how I help businesses achieve real measurable success.
Being able to speak three languages, English, Ukrainian, and Russian, has also shaped my approach to digital marketing. It has given me a unique ability to understand different perspectives, communicate with a diverse range of clients, and adapt messaging to reach the right audience. Language is at the core of connection and I apply that same principle to marketing by ensuring brands speak in a way that resonates with their customers.
Everything I have experienced has led me to where I am today. Growing up with immigrant parents taught me resilience and the value of hard work. Moving to Dallas from Chicago and starting in marketing showed me the power of persistence and adaptability. Becoming a single mother gave me the strength to push forward no matter the challenge. Launching Joyify Collective was the result of years of learning, dreaming, and taking bold steps toward my vision. My analytical approach, my ability to identify gaps in digital marketing strategies, and even my multilingual skills have all shaped how I help businesses grow. Every part of my journey has contributed to the way I approach marketing with strategy, creativity, and an unwavering drive to make an impact.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has shaped me. Balancing entrepreneurship with being a single mother has been one of the hardest yet most rewarding challenge. Late nights, tough decisions, and moments of doubt come with the territory, but giving up is never an option.
Starting Joyify Collective meant stepping away from stability and facing the uncertainty of building something from the ground up. Finding clients, proving myself, and standing out in a competitive industry were all challenges, but my resilience and analytical approach have helped me push through. Every obstacle has only reinforced my determination to succeed.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I believe success comes from hard work, perseverance, and creating opportunities. Through my journey, I’ve learned that progress isn’t about waiting for things to fall into place, it’s about taking action and making the most of every situation. The work you put in will manifest itself, going beyond good or bad luck. Challenges are a natural part of life and business, and I see them as opportunities for growth. By staying determined and focused, I’ve been able to build something meaningful. While timing can play a role, it’s ultimately our effort and mindset that shape our success.
