Hidden Gems: Meet Jollin Nguyen of Cherish Vacation Home Rental in Frisco

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jollin Nguyen.

Jollin, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Jollin Nguyen, and my journey is defined by resilience, service, and an unwavering commitment to creating a better future for my family and the people I serve. I am a Doctor of Pharmacy, a real estate agent, a real estate investor, a business owner, and a mother of two beautiful children—a six-year-old daughter and a six-month-old baby boy. Each role has shaped who I am, and together they tell the story of a woman who refuses to slow down, give up, or stop dreaming.

My introduction to real estate began in 2019, when I decided to take my first step into long-term rental investing. I had zero knowledge at the time—just curiosity, determination, and a desire to build financial stability. That single decision changed the trajectory of my life. I learned quickly, took calculated risks, and discovered the power of real estate in building long-term wealth.

In 2021, I expanded into the short-term rental market and launched my first Airbnb property in Frisco, Texas. Within my first year, I earned the title of Airbnb Superhost, and I’ve held that status proudly ever since. What began as one property soon grew into a full business, and today I also work as a co-host, helping clients manage their own short-term rental homes with the same care and professionalism I apply to my own.

People often think hosting is simple—but it’s far more than responding to messages. I coordinate and supervise cleaning teams, ensure every home meets high standards, handle scheduling, manage maintenance, resolve guest disputes, and file claims when properties are damaged or trashed. The work is constant and demanding, but I manage it with pride because hospitality is both an art and a responsibility.

Alongside my hosting business, I work as a real estate agent in the DFW metroplex. I genuinely love showing homes, guiding families, and using my negotiation skills to protect and advocate for my clients. Whether someone is buying, selling, or investing, I treat every transaction with care—as if it were my own. If anyone in DFW is looking for a dedicated real estate agent, I am always more than happy to help.

For travelers or families looking for a short-term stay in Frisco, Texas, I also welcome direct bookings for stays from a few days to a few months. Guests may reach me at 504-756-2669 to receive exclusive discounts and save on booking fees.

Balancing everything—my pharmacy career, my real estate business, hosting, and motherhood—requires sacrifice. I often work more than 100 hours a week, and some nights I sleep only a few hours. After finishing a long day at work, I go home to care for my children. And after they fall asleep, I begin my second shift—catching up on business tasks, responding to guests, managing properties, and planning for growth.

My strength comes from humility, hard work, a hunger to learn, and a refusal to give up. But I also recognize that I did not walk this path alone. I could not be where I am today without the unwavering support of my husband—my backbone, my partner, and one of my greatest blessings. His encouragement has given me the strength to pursue my dreams even on the hardest days.

In just six years—from a graduate with no real estate experience—I have grown into a multi-property investor, an Airbnb Superhost, and a trusted real estate professional helping others achieve their dreams of homeownership. I am deeply grateful for every opportunity life has given me, and I remain committed to working hard, staying humble, and continuing to grow.

Outside of work, I enjoy listening to music, spending time with friends, traveling, and volunteering. My biggest dream is to travel the world with my children and to become wealthy enough not just for myself—but to help orphans, the homeless, and those who are less fortunate.

My journey is far from over. I am still building, still learning, and still dreaming. But every step reminds me that anything is possible when you combine hard work with heart, purpose, and gratitude.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It is not a smooth road. I keep learning every day. I need to increase bookings in slow seasons and need to keep up with paperwork and tasks.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Cherish Vacation Home Rental in Frisco?
