Hidden Gems: Meet Katherine Brunner of Let’s Glow Media

Today we’d like to introduce you to Katherine Brunner.

Hi Katherine, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in a household where entrepreneurship and stepping out were always encouraged. My parents were business owners, and I admired the fulfillment and autonomy that came with building something of your own. In college, I was involved in several entrepreneurship programs and competitions, which gave me a sense of direction for what I wanted to do after graduation.

I’ve always been a people person and knew I wanted to work with business owners. In August 2021, I launched Let’s Glow Media to help them with their marketing and social media so they can focus on what they do best, running their businesses. I only take on clients whose business I genuinely admire and respect because it allows me to feel even more motivated to help them succeed.

Now, I get to work with incredible companies across different industries, watching them grow and seeing how far they have come. It is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do, helping clients build what feels like a digital scrapbook of their business and hearing how that consistency has driven sales, brought in new customers, or made their brand more credible. Moments like those remind me that Let’s Glow Media is creating a real impact.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When I first started out, I didn’t always know which direction to take or what would actually work. A lot of my journey in entrepreneurship has been trial and error. There is no playbook, and I have learned most things by simply doing. I worked long hours, often without seeing immediate results, and definitely made less than friends who had steady full-time jobs. There were moments when I felt like I was running in circles, wondering if I had made a mistake by choosing this path instead of taking the safer route.

Even through those doubts, I always knew what I was working toward. Every small win and sign of progress reminded me that the effort was worth it. Watching my clients succeed and knowing I played a part in that further confirmed there was nothing else I’d rather be doing.

In the last four years, I’ve learned that being easy to work with and following through on what you say you’ll do matters more than almost anything else. I’ve learned to make my yeses mean yes and my nos mean no, to go above and beyond when it would be easier not to, and to navigate different types of personalities and working styles.

We’ve been impressed with Let’s Glow Media, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Let’s Glow Media, we are a marketing agency that primarily focuses on social media management for established businesses across a variety of industries, including construction, manufacturing, tech, retail, automotive, furniture, and more. We specialize in crafting and executing the whole pipeline, from strategy and content creation to posting, paid promotions, engagement, and analytics.

What sets us apart is our hands-on approach and commitment to truly understanding our clients. We make it a priority to visit them often, staying closely connected to their business so our work reflects their real day-to-day. Our clients range from smaller established businesses to large organizations with hundreds of employees, and we approach each one with the same level of care and strategy.

We believe in creating content that tells a story and drives results, helping businesses grow their presence and build loyal communities. Most of all, we are passionate about supporting business owners who recognize the value of social media but lack the time or expertise to effectively manage it themselves.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I listen to a lot of podcasts and read books in the personal development and business space. Some of my favorites are the Huberman Lab Podcast and Diary of a CEO. I also really enjoy Bob Goff’s books, and Atomic Habits has been really helpful for me; I refer back to it often!
