Hidden Gems: Meet Kidd Kashmen of TexxposedTv

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kidd Kashmen

Hi Kidd, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grew up playin basketball winning a few state championships from elementary to middle school, began to play in high school and ended up being cut. My best friend “Realindafields” use to come use my moms computer to make beats and I began rapping on them for fun. I began rapping as a hobby and had success at Texas Am Commerce making popular songs for the campus, got kicked out and moved back to Dallas. Started back rapping when I got back to Dallas and had immediate success on a local level with bookings at the most popular clubs at the time (Club One, Cirque, Etc) as well as winning the hometown showdown on K104 with Rap group Couple Grand mafia. The rapping actually turned to club promoting as I became familiar with the club business by getting booked and meeting the promoters, Ended up working for some the biggest promoters in Dallas ever, (J Roc of Klean Kut for Cirque, Che and more, Corey from Clout Records and Big Hoop of Club Flow) Got in legal trouble and had to put the rap on pause for 7 years. After completing 10 years probation I attempted to rap again and purchased my first studio to record my own music. My peers advised me I should start a blog because of my connections and I wouldn’t pay it any mind until my business partner/ producer “Real in Da Fields” convinced me to start recording artist for money and make money out my studio. he also advised me to start blogging. I started making good money recording with my first studio and a lot of popular artist began to record at my studio. then decided to add a camera to my inventory to my stuidio and it began. I was immediately booked by Sauce Walka and TSF to vlog as my first camera gig. Started doing interviews and managing an artist named “YungHeze” and vlogging at the same time as well as music videos. Me and my business partner then grew the studio to a 5 studio in one suite. I then began to manage a Dallas Artist and pioneer “Young Black” as well as “DJ Trap”. As my studio grew and management career grew I continued to grow the blog. I began to grow a lot more connections as major artist, record labels and celebrities commented and shared many post from TexxposedTv. I also made many viral videos on YouTube a Instagram as well as the viral series “The War In Dallas”. We are still working, still growing and looking to expand into more areas of media. We have great relationships with most of the blogs in Texas and also is a partner of 97.9 the beat.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, at first I didn’t have direction, n then I just tried something and kept trying until it worked. I’ve lost multiple studios due to customers as well as business partners. And anybody in business will know there is always someone taking. And it can it can be a challenge on spending time with family as well as having to delegate task r jobs to others.
