Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Gary Chujor.
Hi Lauren, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m Lauren, a 27 year old entrepreneur with 4 kids and 5 dogs.
I was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico and went to boarding school in Austin, Texas. I spent my first semester of college at UCSC (University of California Santa Cruz) and transferred to Dallas eager for new beginnings.
After achieving my associates in neuroscience from UTD (University of Texas at Dallas) I pursed becoming an EMT/Paramedic. Simultaneously, I fell in love and started engaging in a different less technical world. I began helping my husband create youth church agendas, host youth events, run basketball tournaments, start radio shows and so much more. I creativity fire lit inside me that I LOVED.
Shortly after, we got married and had our first child. Through this time I took a step back from the medical world and began toying with this creative company. Eventually we created Social Project.
After 8 years, Social Project is an event company offering rentals, excursions and a creative content studio.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was most definitely NOT linear haha. Mistakes are Feedback. Use them, pivot. Keep going!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Social Project isn’t just an event company — it’s a movement that connects creativity, community, and experience. We build environments where people live out their passions through conceptual events, excursions, studio content creation, and community clubs — all unified under one experiential ecosystem.
Most companies sell “services.” We design moments that move people.
Every concept, excursion, and studio session is built around emotion, storytelling, and purpose — not just logistics.
Our focus isn’t on what happens at the event — it’s on how people feel when they leave!
We’re fully mobile — with our own fleet, inventory, and creative team.
That means we can bring the experience to you — anywhere, anytime — without relying on external venues.
From a corporate retreat at a park to a family night out downtown, we move creativity across the city.
What does success mean to you?
Success is measured by achieving purpose.
