Hidden Gems: Meet Lisa Trigsted of Get Neat with Lisa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Trigsted

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Lisa was born the oldest of seven children and my parents gave her a lot of responsibility. It was then that her natural gifts of organizing presented itself. After careers in marketing and teaching, Lisa decided to go for it and open her own home organization business in 2017. Lisa’s business grew quickly and HSN (The Home Shopping Network) came knocking and asked her to create a line of organization products to be sold exclusively at HSN. Lisa now has a team of nine and her business is thriving.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have learned as I grew! The back end of business was a hard learning curve for me but hiring an admin and implementing a client management system helped tremendously. I also took every set back as a learning opportunity and changed things as they presented themselves.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
GNWL specializes in home organizing. Everything from pretty pantries to garages! I was known as the “pantry queen” when I first started. My “eat first” bin is my signature pantry staple. When my children were home is when I created this. Every snack that is opened already goes into the “first bin“. Once that bin is empty, you can open up a new package of snacks. This prevents items from getting stale and ending up in the trash. You could also use the “eat first bin” for food items that are about to Expire, I hate wasting food so this is a very important part of staying organized. Garages are my favorite room to organize though! It’s such a huge transformation for our clients!

What sets us apart from others is the attention to detail that we provide. We also create aesthetically pleasing spaces, that are beautiful AND functional. When we set up a space for you, we say it should be one and done. If we have done our job correctly and have walked you through the space at the end of the session I’m gonna I’m here, you should be able to keep up with it by doing a weekly reset. We talk about this process when we do our final walkthrough.

I am most proud of the team I have built. It’s hard to find people that love your business as much as you do. The team I have in place now are amazing hard working women, no drama, and our clients love them!
