The Fluharty Group is a team of Seasoned Business Operations Professionals with a passion for bookkeeping, process improvement, and business operations. We have been fortunate to work in a variety of industries, such as food & beverage, power & communication, association management, medical devices, and financial services. We have found our niche in the areas of bookkeeping and business operations management.
The Fluharty Group was originally founded by Mackenzie. After years of working for larger firms and having to bob and weave throughout the principals of “big business”, Mackenzie became frustrated of the chase and wanted to get back to providing clients the services they needed to help their businesses succeed. The Fluharty Group was developed as a partner for business with ten or less employees that need less than 40 hours per week of administrative and financial management.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has not always been smooth, and sometimes every day feels like an adventure. Many of our clients have similar “busy seasons” that require us to manage priorities and monitor deadlines closely. At times it can feel like we are trying to squeeze 8 days into one week! We have also had to learn new software platforms, industry best practices and standard operating procedures in order to help our clients to their full capacity. But every month it pays off in tenfold. To be able to assist our clients in uncovering funds they are owed, accounts they have overpaid on, and software platforms that can increase their efficiency and shorten their sales process is always worth the (sometimes) chaos!
