Today we’d like to introduce you to Madison Smith.
Hi Madison, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
There is a saying amongst Chiropractors that goes something like this “You don’t choose Chiropractic, Chiropractic chooses you.” I truly feel this best describes my journey into this profession. Though I grew up with a Chiropractor dad, I didn’t always want to be a Chiropractor. In fact, I explored almost every other route within health care before finally and somewhat unenthusiastically deciding to go with Chiropractic. And now, I cannot see myself doing anything else in life. I love what I do, and I feel honored to follow in the footsteps of my dad by serving Chiropractic.
Chiropractic school is what brought me to Dallas, and while it was not in my plans to stay, I am filled with gratitude to be here serving this community. I went into school knowing that I wanted to start my own practice immediately post-grad, however I didn’t do so until May of 2023. Prior to that, I was practicing in spaces with other colleagues and gaining great experience. Officially opening Intuitive Heart Chiropractic brought up a lot of emotions, but joy was always at the forefront. That joy is what brought my practice to life and continues to bring in the most wonderful clients daily. I value genuine connection and love cultivating that with my clients by caring for them and supporting them through this work.
The way that I practice has become my lifestyle. Not that my entire life revolves around my work, but that I align my life and self-practices in order to show up congruently and serve my clients. I don’t think i could do it any other way, and I love the way I live. I live according to the principles of vitality and under the philosophy that the body is a self-healing and self-regulating organism so long as it’s provided the right environment. I hope to be an advocate for my client’s well-being, and shed light on the ability to enhance the expression of our innate potential. Chiropractic radically influences the way we live.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest challenge thus far has been finding a way to market my practice/myself in an authentic way. I feel it’s hard to portray the work that i do through a google ad or social media post. I always tell people they just have to experience it. Most of my marketing is done by word-of-mouth referrals from my existing clients sharing their experience, and I am so grateful for that!
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about Intuitive Heart Chiropractic?
