Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Winkler.
Hi Megan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I didn’t set out to become a burnout coach or energetic strategist. I started here because I watched too many brilliant women business owners burn themselves out trying to build success the “right” way.
My background is in strategy. I have an MBA and spent years working in marketing, SEO, and systems, helping businesses grow, optimize, and scale. I understood how to create results, how to measure performance, and how to push momentum forward.
And yet, despite doing everything correctly, I burned out. It wasn’t because I lacked discipline or ambition. I burned out because I was running my business on adrenaline instead of sustainability.
What I began to see, both in myself and the women I worked with, was a pattern: High-achieving, values-driven women building businesses they loved, while slowly disconnecting from themselves.
That’s when I stopped treating burnout as a productivity issue and started studying it as an energy and nervous system issue.
I dove deep into neuroscience, burnout prevention, leadership psychology, and nervous system regulation, while also reclaiming intuitive tools like astrology, embodiment, and energy awareness as practical, strategic data.
What emerged was clear: Most women business owners aren’t burned out because they’re doing too much. Most of them are burned out because they’re building businesses that don’t honor how they’re wired. This insight became the foundation of my work.
Today, I help women entrepreneurs, coaches, and leaders build businesses that are both profitable and sustainable, without sacrificing their health, creativity, or sense of self. My frameworks blend strategy with energetic alignment, so growth doesn’t come at the cost of burnout.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There’s nothing quite like business ownership to show you where your strengths and weaknesses lie. It’s really part business strategy, part self-transformation journey, and mine has been no different. As I said, I experienced burnout myself. I was running hard and fast in my business, trying to keep up with the demands of my varied client base, and stuck in a people-pleasing cycle that was depleting my energy.
That’s what led me to write my book, Breaking Up With Burnout, and create solutions for real women running real businesses and teams.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
This is a good question, and I’m not sure “luck” played a role in it. I truly believe that we’re offered opportunities and led to meet other people when we’re ready and listening to what the Universe is inviting us to. When we show up in authenticity and a genuine desire to connect with other humans, great things happen.
