Hidden Gems: Meet Nicole Wise of Even More Fitness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Wise.

Hi Nicole, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up as a chunky, but strong willed kid. I decided that if I wanted to be skinny and fit, I was going to have to take control and learn how to workout. Fast forward through a lot of high school weight room workouts and teenage angst, I fell in love with all things fitness. I attended LSU, received a degree in kinesiology while learning that functional fitness was my favorite form of exercise. I also grew up coaching kids in horseback riding and sport, so teaching/ coaching was in my nature. I happened upon a wonderful personal training job that propelled me into dreaming of having my own boutique gym one day. At the start of covid, I moved to Dallas and started Even More Fitness in a park. As I gathered clients and the world began to get back to normal, I decided I needed to find my own facility. I walked into an empty space that needed lots of help, but quickly it became Even More Fitness. This gym of mine is a unique place where my clients get pushed to become better, but we also strive to make it the most fun part of their day!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Is any business ownership smooth? No, but it has all been worth it and has made us stronger.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We specialize in function fitness and corrective exercise. We are a boutique personal training gym that does not have memberships, only personal training sessions. We train all ages, fitness levels, and capabilities. We also work with a nutritionist, running specialist, chiropractor, and hormone replacement specialist.
I am proud of how we have created a gym that is like Cheers, where everyone knows your name. You are special to us and so if your fitness and keeping your healthy.

What matters most to you?
Connecting with my clients matters the most. Being a personal trainer is about working out, but more than half of the time, it’s being a sit in therapist. I see my clients through all of the great and tough times. I pride myself in knowing how they are doing and knowing exactly what type of workout they need based on how their lives are going.

Pricing:

  • $60/ 30 minute session
  • $95/60 min session
