Hi Oneil, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I founded Herbal Enrichments in 2021, inspired by a deeply personal journey. After losing my mother, Linel Young, to lymphoma, I felt a strong calling to explore herbalism and empower others to take charge of their health. This passion led to the creation of Herbal Enrichments, where our mission is to inspire and support individuals in embracing a healthier way of life.
Getting to where I am today has not been easy, but I believe my purpose, mission, and the reason for starting Herbal Enrichments have been the driving forces that have propelled me forward, along with the support of close friends, and families and people who believe in the mission.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey hasn’t been without its challenges. One of the biggest hurdles has been raising awareness and building trust in herbal medicine. While interest in natural remedies is growing, many people remain unfamiliar with herbal practices or hesitant to embrace lifestyle changes. To overcome this, I have focused heavily on education, ensuring that clients not only receive high-quality herbal products but also the knowledge and support needed to make informed decisions about their health.
Through this experience, I have learned invaluable lessons about perseverance, purpose-driven work, and the power of education in building trust. Herbal Enrichments is more than a business—it is a mission. My hope is that it continues to inspire, educate, and support individuals on their journey to better health, making natural healing accessible to all who seek it.
